This document discusses the concept of a DIY/DIWO (do it with others) mobile labstudio. It proposes creating a mobile lab that allows users to engage with spaces through visualization and audio experiences. Existing DIY kits lack continuity, are used once or twice and then shelved, and require too much direction. The proposed mobile labstudio would focus on storytelling, demystifying instructions, visualizing data in a playful way, and building a community through packaging, branding, and a website. It would allow users to "make your own equipment, hear the unseen, see the unheard, and engage with a space." A participatory and collaborative design approach is recommended.
