HOW ALLAH CREATED THE HEAVEN
AND EARTH
You will know the ideology of Islam
and its view in regards to creation;
universe, man and life.
Qaf 50:38 We created the heavens
and the earth and all between
them in Six Days nor did any
sense of weariness touch Us.
 Ar-Rum 30:22 And among His signs is
the creation of the heavens and
the earth, and the difference of
your languages and colors.
Verily in that are indeed sign for
men of sound knowledge.
• Ar-Rum 30:25 And among His
Signs is this that heaven and
earth stand by His Command:
then when He calls you by a
single call from the earth
behold you come out from the
earth (from your graves for
reckoning and recompense)
 ADULTERY, GAMBLING, DRINKING
WINE AND DRUGS
 Al-Baqara 2:219 They ask thee
concerning wine and gambling.
Say: "In them is a great sin and
some benefits for men; but the
sin is greater than their
benefits."
 Al- Maida 5:90 O you who believe!
Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic
drinks), gambling, Al Ansâb
(animals that are sacrificed) , ….
 and Al Azlâm (arrows for seeking
luck or decision) are an
abomination of Shaitân's (Satan)
handiwork.
 So avoid (strictly all) that
(abomination) in order that you
may be successful .
Al- Maida 5:91 Shaitân (Satan)
wants only to excite enmity and
hatred between you with
intoxicants (alcoholic drinks) and
gambling, and hinder you from the
remembrance of Allâh and from As-
Salât (the prayer). So, will you not
then abstain?
 IT IS IN FACT A COMPREHENSIVE
SYSTEM FOR THE SOCIETY, A
CONSTITUTION FOR THE STATE AND A
WAY OF LIFE
The Prophet (sas) said; "Seven people
will be shaded by Allah under His shade
on the day when there will be no shade
except Him.
(1) A just ruler,
(2) A young man who has been
brought up in the worship of Allah,
(i.e. worship Allah Alone)
sincerely from his childhood),
(3) A man whose heart is attached to
the mosque (who offers the five
compulsory congregational prayers
in the mosque, ….
(4) Two persons who love each other
only for Allah's sake and they meet
and part in Allah's cause only, ….
(5) A man who refuses the call of a
charming woman of noble birth for an
illegal sexual intercourse with her
and says: I am afraid of Allah, ….
(6) A person who practices charity so
secretly that his left hand does not
know what his right hand has given
(i.e. nobody knows how much he has
given in charity).
(7) A person who remembers Allah in
seclusion and his eyes get flooded
with tears." [S. Al-Bukhari V.2 H. no. 504]
 The Prophet said; "Avoid the seven
great destructive sins." The people
enquire, "O Allah's Apostle! What are
they? "He said;
 (1) "To join others in worship along with
Allah,
 (2) Sorcery,
 (3) Killing a person whose killing Allah
has prohibited except justly,
(4) Eating up riba (usury),
(5) To eat up an orphan's wealth,
(6) Giving back to the enemy and
fleeing from the battlefield at the
time of fighting,
(7) And falsely accusing, indiscreet
believing women, of illegal
sexual intercourse [Sahih Al-Bukhari V. 4 H.
no. 28]
 Hasrat Abu Huraira (raa) relates,
that the Prophets (sas) said, a
hypocrite has three
distinguishing sign:
 (1) When he talks he talks a lie
 (2) When he makes a promise he
breaks it
 (3) And when something is
entrusted to him he
misappropriates it.
 Quran 49:12 ‘O you who believe avoid
suspicion as much (as possible): for
suspicion in some cases is a sin:
 And spy not, neither backbite one
another.
 Would any of you like to eat the flesh of
his dead brother? Nay, you would abhor
[hate] it...and fear Allah: For Allah is
Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.
Narrated by Abu Huraira Allah's
Apostle said, "Beware of suspicion:
* For suspicion is the worst of false
tales.
* And do not look for the others'
faults,
* And do not do spying on one
another,
* And do not practice Najsh, [means
to offer a high price for something in
order to allure another costumer
who is interested in the thing]
* And do not be jealous of one
another
* And do not hate one another,
* And do not desert (talking to)
one another. And O, Allah's
worshipers! Be brothers!" [S. Al-
Bukhari V.8 Hadith no.92]
 Narrated by Hudhaifa I heard the
Prophet saying, "A Qattat will not enter
Paradise." [S. Al-Bukhari V.8 H. no.82]
 A Qattat is a person who conveys
disagreeable, false information from one
person to another with intention of
causing harm and enmity between them.
THE DOUBLE FACED PEOPLE
Narrated by Abu Huraira the Prophet said,
"The worst people in the Sight of Allah on
the Day of Resurrection will be the double
faced people who appear to some people
with one face and to other people with
another face." [S. Al-Bukhari V.8 H. no.84]
An-Nur 24:24 On the Day when their
tongues their hands and their feet will bear
witness against them as to their actions.
 Mu'ath bin Jabal narrated that
the Prophet Muhammad, peace
be upon him, said the following;
 Acquire knowledge, for surely it
leads to fear of Allah.
Seeking it is an act of worship
('ibadah);
studying it is praising Allah;
seeking it is jihad;
teaching it to whomever doesn't
known it is an act of charity
(sadaqah); and giving it to its people
draws one closer to them. [From
Selected Speeches khutab Mukhtaarah]
Knowledge points to the
permissible (Halaal) and the
forbidden (haraam);
And it is a shining light pointing
the way to paradise, it comforts
the lonely, befriends the
estranged, and talks to you in
seclusion. [From Selected Speeches khutab
Mukhtaarah]
• It is a guide through prosperity
and adversity; it is a weapon
against enemies; and it is the
best of friends.
With knowledge, Alláh raises
people to high stations, making
them leaders in goodness,
whose steps are traced. [From
Selected Speeches khutab Mukhtaarah]
The angels like to sit with the
people of knowledge,
surrounding their wings;
And everything dry or wet,
fish of the sea and animals
on land, will ask Allah to
forgive them. [From Selected Speeches
khutab Mukhtaarah]
Knowledge gives life to the
heart in the midst of ignorance,
and illumines vision in the
darkness.
With knowledge, God's servants
become the elite and reach the
highest degrees in this life and
in the hereafter.
 Contemplation with knowledge
is equivalent to fasting (sawm);
 Spending time to study it is
equivalent to standing at night
in prayer (qiyam);
 Duties to relatives are fulfilled
by it; and through it, the halaal
and haraam are known. [From Selected
Speeches khutab Mukhtaarah]
THE QUR'ÂN IS A PLAIN STATEMENT
FOR MANKIND
 Quran 3:138 This (the Qur'ân) is a plain
statement for mankind, a guidance
and instruction to those who are Al-
Muttaqûn (the pious - see V.2:2).
 Quran 3:139 So do not become weak
(against your enemy), nor be sad, and
you will be superior (in victory) if you
are indeed (true) believers.
