A camera operator is responsible for capturing all scenes and actors on camera, and can also serve as an extra set of eyes to help the director. They also maintain camera equipment and prepare shot lists. A film director oversees the entire filmmaking process, chooses the cast, and must approve all decisions made on set. A production runner handles paperwork, scripts, and safety notices, and runs errands for the crew such as picking up lunch or delivering packages. A location manager finds and rents locations that suit the director's vision, and maintains those locations for filming.
