• Generally this section was attempted well.
• Many candidates had a problem with the final
question on Arable farming and Pastoral
farming.
• To do better, candidates should do more
regular revision.
• Candidates should review their notes, past
exercises as well as their textbook prior to the
examinations to better craft their answers.

6. Section B: Structured Essay Questions
• Candidates were generally ok with
Questions 5, 8 and 9.
• Question 6 requires the use of a diagram.
–Candidates who did not include the diagram
will not be entitled to full marks.
• Question 7 also requires 2 diagrams
illustrating the settlement pattern to be
used.
