SEARCH AD / TEXT AD
Meaning:
Search ad is in the form of text where the advertiser can promote their
products and services which results in SERP (Search Engine Result page), Google
search partner, Google display websites.
Structure to create Search Ad/Text Ad:
Notes: * should get approval from PM or CEO
Step 1:
You should have Google ad account for creating ad. To create an account,
Google → ads.google.com→ your mail id→ create account.
Step 2:
If you already have Google ad account means Login by user name and
password.
Step 3:
In Campaign →right side you will see + symbol. If you click + means you can
create new campaign.
Step 4:
For creating campaign, you should set a goal. For creating search ad, the
following goals can make successful as follows, Sales, Leads, Website traffic.
Step 5:
After Goal selection we have to select Campaign type. We should set search
as campaign type.
Step 6:
You have to select the ways to reach people, here I’m setting as website visit. In
website visit you can give your business website URL and choose continue option.
Step 7:
Next, you have to set the campaign name, so you can refer in future by client
name.
Step 8:
Next you have to select network, in which networks your ad should be
viewed. (Search partner, Display Partner or both) *
Step 9:
In more setting you can set start and end date, Campaign URL options,
Dynamic search ad, In Dynamic search ad you can target Language and people*
Step 10:
Next is Targeting Audience so you can target Location wise, language wise
and Audience wise
 In Location wise you can target All countries and territories or India or
Enter another location.
 By selecting another location you can choose particular location
manually.
 By using Advanced search you can add bulk locations, and also
by using radius you can target a location, in that particular
location you can target within 20 km
 In language you can choose Language*
 In Audience you can target by their keywords search, location,
interest*
Step 11:
Next you have to set average Budget for spending each day*
Step 12:
Next you have to set Bidding strategy. In this various strategy available for
Search ad. CPC (Cost per click is the best strategy for Search ad.*
Step 13:
In more settings, you can set conversions, Scheduled days and timings and
ad rotations*
Step 14:
You can add extensions for example landing to another page, you can set
address, phone number, maps etc by using extensions after this you should save
and continue*
Step 15:
After the completion of campaign setting you have to create ad group Name.
In this step what all category should come under campaign. Here we can create
number of campaigns. *
Step 16:
After creating group name, you have to enter keywords related to ad name.
you can use match type while using keywords eg. Exact match type, Broad match
type according to the approval. *
Step 17:
If you need to add next group means add otherwise click save and continue
Step 18:
After ad groups creation you have to create search ads and Responsive
search ad.
 Search ad:
 Landing Page URL should be entered. *
 You can give up to 3 Headlines with 30-character limit. *
 You can give up to 2 Descriptions with 90 Character limit. *
 Then you can select done and create Responsive ad
 Responsive search ad:
 In Responsive ad select + to create new responsive ad.
 Landing Page URL should be entered. *
 You can give up to 5 headings with 30-character limit. *
 You can give up to 4 description with 90-character limit. *
 In this above 15 heading and 4 description it will show the best 3
headings and 2 descriptions in different combinations. *
 So, you can pin the position which have to be view in1st,2nd,3rd
or unpin in any position. *
 After these steps you select done and click Save and continue.
Step 19:
Finally, you can enter into the payment section so you can pay for and your
ad can be successfully run in the result pages. *
