Best
      Insulation?
Is your house correctly insulated???
Aim

Our aim is to find out how using different insulation
will be better for the earth, saving more energy.
Hypothesis
 think that the Batts will keep the most warmth in
 I
the container because the Batts is a very thick sort of
material and also keeps the warmth in your house in
the winter. On the other hand the one that I think will
keep it cool is the control because there is nothing to
keep it warm.
Materials
4 ice Cream containers

1 cup of boiling water for each container

1 cup of freezing water for each container

4 thermometers

1 stopwatch

enough Sponge to cover the whole container

2 layers of tin foil ( enough to cover the whole container )
●

Strong glue ( e.g. PVA)

enough pink Batts to cover the whole container

and one container kept normal for control
Variables
What we have done to change the test is
doing the test in containers not beakers and
using sponge and tin foil instead of using sock.
Method
 Drill a thermometer size hole in the top of all the containers.
 1.

 Take the lid off the 4 containers and stick the insulation on the bottom of the

Conclusion
In-conclusion when you start thinking about getting some insulation for
your house in the winter and summer the all-round best was Batts. My
hypothesis was correct for the warm water test but next time I think we
could have done the test more than once to see a clear winner and also we
had a few faulty thermometers
Application
 you have recently considered insulating your house, from my perspective, you should check out an
 If
insulation called Pink Batts or Batts because I have recently done a scientific test on which insulation is the
best to suit your house. The reason I recommend
