My dad migrated to New Zealand from Ireland in August 1996 at age 28. He came to travel the world after taking a year off work, and chose New Zealand because he had already been to Europe and wanted to visit the furthest country from Ireland. While he liked New Zealand's similar landscape to Ireland, he missed his family living so far away. He flew to New Zealand on Air New Zealand and returned home twice, once in 1997 to finish his travels and again in 2002 to see his family.

My dad migrated to New Zealand from Ireland.
He first to New Zealand in 22 august 1996.
He was only 28 yrs old.

did you pick NZ
He came to nz on travel as he took a year of year
of work to travle the world.
He came to nz cause he already travelled europe
and he had never been to nz or australia.
And new zealand is furtherst you cold go from
ireland.

He liked the landscape as it was a like being back
in Ireland.
He missed his family as he had never been so far
away from home.

He came on a air New Zealand.
He went back twice once in 1997 and in 2002.
The first time was to finish his travel and the
second time was to see his family.
