A girl runs through a forest in her dreams but wakes up to her alarm in her messy bedroom. She feels pressure from society to conform but finds small moments of joy through acts of kindness from strangers. Though she still struggles comparing herself to others, she begins to open up more to her classmates over time.

EXT. FOREST - DAY (MORNING LIGHT)
A girl WITH brown hair is running in the forest through
trees.
she weaving through multiple tress and jumping over rocks and
fall tress. she wears a smile across her face looking around
to the world before her.
She stops and looks around the forest inspecting all the
little details she can see. she closely looks some flowers
and leans into them to smell them.
She stands tall on a top of a hill staring at the sun. the
light shines on her and she relaxes while closing her eyes.
While closing her eyes she hears an alarm clock sound ringing
and opens her eyes.
INT. TERRACE HOUSE- DAY (MORNING)
Alarm clocking buzzing
The girl quickly opens her eyes and sits up quickly looking
at her surroundings.
The room is a typical teenagers room with posters ,lights and
clutter on the floor.
She wears mismatched pyjamas , while her hair is on a small
bun in the back.
she finds the where the alarm clock sound is coming from and
shuts it off.
The sighs and then she drops back on the bed to stare at the
ceiling.
NARRATOR:
It's hard to live, when you were born
to dream. Society tells us what to be,
what role we are to play.
EXT. LONG STREET - DAY (MORNING)
The girl walks in slowly down the street, she wears her
headphones which are covered by her brown hair.
she slowly raises her head and she puts a smile on her face
to smile at a stranger who walks past her and then drops her
smile on her face and drops her head down.

We feel obligated to smile or wave at
each other without known our stories,
but sometimes that simple gesture can
change a persons day.
INT. COLLEGE - DAY
The girl is now sitting down at a desk covered in paper
sheets, pens and notes. she tries to find her work by
rummaging through all the work but leans back in her chair.
Her born hair is now in a higher bun and she wears very soft
muted colours. She has a large cardigan over her shoulder and
a bland colour white t shirt and blue jeans.
she looks around the class and see all the other students
desk which are organised and working quietly, she stares back
at her work.
She gets her ear phone from her bag and places them in her
ear.
She slowly sways her head in time with the music, getting
lost in the rhythm.
NARRATOR:
We cant help but to compare each other
to ourselves. Feeling like we must be
perfect.
INT. CAFETERIA - MIDDAY
The girl is now sitting in the cafeteria with the same people
from her class.
She sits at the table staring down a her food which is a
plain bag of crisps.
Everyone else at the table talks and messes around while she
sits there quietly.
she looks up and puts a smile on her face and nods with her
classmates.

The girl is now wearing comfy clothing with her hair placed
in a low bun.
she sits at a desk with her work scattered about, she
concentrates on the work deeply.
The girl walks to her bed and lays down, closing her eyes and
began to drift off to sleep.
INT. TERRACE HOUSE- DAY (MORNING)
She sits up abruptly, fear still in her eyes. she looks
around.
She sighs looking up and seeing the time. Getting out of bed
and heading for the door.
EXT. LONG STREET - DAY (MORNING)
She walks down the same street as before, in different
clothing.
As she walks down the street, a little girl stops in front of
her and begins to smile up at her. The little girl holds a
stuffed teddy by her side
NARRATOR:
But once and a while an random act of
kindness can spark a light, to know we
are not alone.
INT. COLLEGE - DAY
The girl now sits in a class room with the rest of her class
mates. She studies at her desk but she smiles when she looks
down.
She looks up at her desk mate and smiles at them, they smile
back and begin to talk.
INT. CAFETERIA - MIDDAY
The girl is more social able at the lunch table which is
surrounded by her classmates talking.
She starts conversations with people on her table and smiles
while talking.
