Ideas for my, less than a minute, short
Child's play:
*Dog is laid asleep*
[Camera shot is ground level far enough to capture the whole dog]
*Left leg steps into shot*
(Few seconds of no movement)
*Figure begins to step closer towards the sleeping canine*
(As figure steps closer, outline of a knife appears to be held by the left hand of the figure)
[Intense music begins to play; camera moves diagonally higher resting (right) shoulder level of the
character]
*Figure walks closer without stopping*
[Camera follows at the same spot; music gets louder and faster]
Womans voice: “Hey you!”
(Voice cuts the music)
*Woman picks up the mini character*
[Camera follows but shot widens]
Woman: “Now you leave (Dog name) alone”
*Sees knife and laughs*
Woman: “Well that’s not nice”
*Baby laughs*
[Shot freezes, laughing is still there, once toned-down music comes in as credits role]
