The proposed opening scene would take place in the protagonist's art room. The camera would show the art supplies and props before revealing a painting the protagonist has been working on. Titles would appear on screen as the scene shows the protagonist listening to music, mixing paints, and washing brushes at the sink. The scene builds tension through the music and lighting before revealing the completed painting. Another character interrupts and urges the protagonist to get ready to go out, ending with a final shot of the painting as the scene cuts to black.
