SCREAM
Screamis conventional because it follows all the main things in a horror movie,
its set in the people’s houses so it makes you feel un at ease because you feel
safein your houseso it is spooky to think some justcalls you and says that
there watching you fromyour house. The character ghostface has a creepy
black costumeand a ghostlike mask that makes the vibe really spooky he
carries a knife around that he slaughters people with then he cleans it off with
his hands, they reveal the people behind the mask and they are boys that go to
their school but they are psychotic teens that are killing people. In the movie
they have high key lighting, it’s not really that dark at times only when it is at
night. The movie is a horror becauseit does have gore which makes it that
horror genreit has jump scares but really not that many it justfocuses on the
horrific parts like how teens are slaughtering people. Scream it has scenes like
how ghostface kills someone with a garage door which makes it really gross.
even in the movie there is a victim Sydney that even tells you all the things that
happen in scary movies like “there’s justa big breasted girl that runs up the
stairs when they could run out the door”
In the movie there is a lot of high key lighting when in horror movies there is
meant to be low-key lighting
The camera work in the movie is a lot of tracking and they have side to side
tracking and they have close ups making it scary when you see the persons
face then the killer run passed. The sound in the movie is all about how silent it
is the tension building up to the big jump scare , they havethe screaming
hence the film name and the noises like panting and heavy breathing
