Scientific method

1. SCIENTIFIC METHOD APPLICATION
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Follow the procedure below and make observations, remember to collect data.
2. Based on the observations apply the Scientific Method, it is necessary to keep the relation among hypothesis,
experiment, analysis, and conclusions.
3. Make a Word document to explain, stage by stage, your application of the Scientific method and upload it to the
corresponding assignment in the tab of activities.
Materials
➢ 3 flowers of different colors
➢ Liquid food colouring.
➢ Water
➢ 1 medium sized plastic container
PROCEDURE
1. Add water to the plastic container and dissolve the food colouring, until having a dark mixture.
2. Put the stem of the three flowers inside of the coloured water, to increase the absorption you can cut the stem as is
shown below:
3. Wait for about 12 hours and register the changes that you observe, if you want, you can register the changes hour by
hour.
