This study investigates the role of school social capital in preparing pupils for upper primary education in Nakuru County, Kenya. Using a regression analysis of data from 254 teachers, the findings indicate an insignificant negative relationship between school social capital and pupils' preparedness for upper primary, suggesting that current social capital factors fail to significantly influence educational outcomes. The study highlights the need for schools to foster stronger social capital to enhance pupils' readiness for upper primary and improve their performance in examinations.
