The School of Farmers project aims to educate local farmers in Bangladesh to address issues like a lack of basic education, adaptation to modern technology, and knowledge of markets, financing, the environment, and food safety. The project will conduct weekly classes and monthly seminars for farmers led by local school students and teachers. It will also make frequent field visits and use online classes to motivate and monitor farmers. The project has already communicated with a local school and villagers in Narayangonj to establish classes and help farmers contribute more to Bangladesh's development. It hopes to eventually expand nationwide and empower youth and women in agriculture.
