UNCLASSIFIED/FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY European Union Satellite Centre © 2017 UNCLASSIFIED/FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY 3 SatCen RTDI Objectives • To improve the SatCen capacity of extracting valuable information from huge amounts of heterogeneous data - Implementing new operational solutions looking at the whole EO and collateral data lifecycle on issues such as:  Big Data, Machine Learning and other technologies/techniques  Management, analysis and exploitation of optical and SAR data - Fostering cooperation with EC, EU entities and key organisations such as ESA and GEO BETTER

UNCLASSIFIED/FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY European Union Satellite Centre © 2017 UNCLASSIFIED/FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY 3 SatCen RTDI Objectives • To improve the SatCen capacity of extracting valuable information from huge amounts of heterogeneous data - Implementing new operational solutions looking at the whole EO and collateral data lifecycle on issues such as:  Big Data, Machine Learning and other technologies/techniques  Management, analysis and exploitation of optical and SAR data - Fostering cooperation with EC, EU entities and key organisations such as ESA and GEO BETTER
