South Beach Universal Access aims to provide direct access to the bay for sailors, swimmers with disabilities and kayakers through a minimal structure. The objectives are to build a ramp and walls that integrate with the surrounding area without interfering with community enjoyment of the beach. The estimated total cost is $1.17 million, including $900,000 for seaside structures like a wall and ramp, and $270,000 for work on the club side such as another wall and landscaping.
