5. The SAP logon pad is
available once the SAP
GUI is installed at the
workstation.

Password which is
assigned to you.
Press Enter or click
After your first access,
you have to change your
password. Please choose
a Password with 8 digits.
Required is a password
with letters and figures.

logical structure from business point of view.

Click with the right mouse
button on Favourites and
then Insert transaction. For
this way it‘s necessary to
know the transaction code.

Search for the transaction in
the SAP menu. Click with the
right mouse button on it –
then Add to favourites, or
put the transaction per drag
and drop to your Favourites.

necessary to work
with more than one
SAP window. SAP
offers the possibility
to work in 6
different sessions.
To open a new
session click

session with Alt+Tab

following symbol a value is
requested. The field needs an entry.
If you don‘t know which input is
requested press F1 or click on this
symbol to get help.
Don‘t forget to set the cursor into
the field where the help is required.
A new window will open with
detailed information about this field.

SAP Logon pad with this name.
Application server − Provide the
IP/Address of the application
server, provided by the basis
administrator.
System number and System ID −
Give the system number provided
by the basis administrator. It should
be kept as 00, if nothing is
specified.
SAP router string − Provide the SAP
Router String, if provided by the
basis administrator. Sometimes it
may be left blank.
Click on: OK -> Finish
