Hilti wanted to (1) share information between departments on a limited basis, (2) consolidate information into one centralized location with limited access, and (3) have faster links between field agents and data to address security concerns and reduce duplicated server space from departments storing duplicate pictures.

5. SAIC Government Project
• Our team project was that we had huge amounts of Master Data coming from several
different sources such as Excel, Access, Oracle, Siebel, and others. DOE wanted us
to move that information from the individual locations onto the SAP Business Suite to
be shared throughout the different contracting agencies using different SAP Products.
Part of my duties included loading this Master Data into InfoProviders or InfoObjects
within several SAP modules so the information could be shared throughout the
multiple project sites (K25, Y12 and ORNL).
