Motivation
My motivation is my interest in:
• How technology can help people learn in the workplace
• How research can help support workforce learning
• The rapid change in workplace technology
• How peer to peer coaching helps learning
• How I can better support this process
Inspiration
My inspiration comes from:
• Watching students develop coping strategies for learning
• Seeing colleagues innovate and motivate in difficult
circumstances
• Colleagues learning and supporting each other in a fast
changing environment
• The inspirational tutors & moderators on this MOOC
Research
The areas I need to investigate further are:
• New strategies being put in place by the UK government
to promote digital literacy
• Project funding opportunities
• Potential collaborators who are interested in a similar
area of study
• Previous literature that may have been carried out in this
area
Action
These are the next things I will do:
• Conduct a literacy search
• Review UK government projects
• Compile a list of people who may be interested in
collaborating starting with work contacts

  • 2. Motivation My motivation is my interest in: • How technology can help people learn in the workplace • How research can help support workforce learning • The rapid change in workplace technology • How peer to peer coaching helps learning • How I can better support this process
  • 3. Inspiration My inspiration comes from: • Watching students develop coping strategies for learning • Seeing colleagues innovate and motivate in difficult circumstances • Colleagues learning and supporting each other in a fast changing environment • The inspirational tutors & moderators on this MOOC
  • 4. Research The areas I need to investigate further are: • New strategies being put in place by the UK government to promote digital literacy • Project funding opportunities • Potential collaborators who are interested in a similar area of study • Previous literature that may have been carried out in this area
  • 5. Action These are the next things I will do: • Conduct a literacy search • Review UK government projects • Compile a list of people who may be interested in collaborating starting with work contacts
