1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 Description:
Sales order report extension by payment type helps to generate order report by
Filtering orders payment method wise. In Default Magento®
there is a facility to
generate report but not by payment method wise. This extension add an extra
feature to generate report and allows Store owner to sort out order by Payment
method. From this you can analyse the customers payment mode considered
most of the time to purchase the order.
Here you can generate your report Year wise, Month wise, Day wise as per your
need. And also at the same time you can select the payment method for which
you want to generate the report. All the payment types will be available which
the customer had selected to pay the orders.
In this extension you can generate the report for all orders at a time or there is
also an option to select any particular status of order(for ex. Processing, on hold,
Completed and so on) and report will be generated for that specific order. After
generating the report there is also an option to export it.

2. HOW TO SET UP:
2.1 How to get Sales Order Report by Payment Type:
To get sales order report by payment method you can

Once it all done we will contact you and will provide you all related files.
2.2 Process for Installing Sales Order Report:
▪ After Downloading the module, please unzip it.
▪ Use Ftp client (such as filezilla, cuteFTP etc) to copy or upload all folder
of unzipped file into your Magento®
site root folder. This will not
overwrite any existing files, just add new files to the folder structure.
▪ After uploading is done, log in to your Magento®
administration panel to
refresh cache. Go to System --> Cache Management. Select all caches
and take action “Refresh” then submit.
▪ In your Magento®
backend, please access
System-->Configuration-->Advanced-->Advanced-->
Oscprofessionals_SalesOrderReport
You can see the "Oscprofessionals_SalesOrderReport tab,
if it is installed properly.

3) HOW TO USE:
3.1.General Setting:
Go to
Admin-->Reports-->Sales-->Orders
Here from Reports you will have to select sales and than Order to generate
report.

3.2. Filters Option:

Here different filters are provided:
 Match period to: Here you can create the real time without refreshing
by selecting order updated date.
 Period: Here you can mention whether report data should be day wise,
month wise or Year wise. And also mention specific time span of that.
 Order Status: Here you can select whether you want report for all
orders or for any specific order that you can select from there.
 Empty Rows: Here if you want all the dates to be mentioned when no
data is to be displayed it will show empty row for that.
 Show Actual Values: To display actual values of the order or not.
 By Payment Type: Here you can select the payment options.
That is you want to show report for all or some specific payment type.

For Cash On Delivery Type:
After entering all the information in the filter data you have to click on show report
and the report will be generated below.

3.3 Export Report:
Here you can Export the Report that is generated by selecting one of the
option from that.
