Mohan, a farmer, discovers that his neighbor Raghu has shifted the boundary bund between their fields into Mohan's land. However, Raghu's uncle is the Sarpanch (head) of the village and is known to have a short temper. When Mohan confronts Raghu, he is beaten by Raghu's servants. Mohan's friends advise him to go to the town police station instead of the local one, which may support Raghu due to his uncle's position. They file a First Information Report at the town police station.
