Billy and Jason discuss plans for a lads holiday while at Billy's house. When Billy leaves to run an errand, Jess tells Jason they need to tell Billy something. Later, Jess tearfully reveals to Billy that she is pregnant. Though Billy is thrilled, Jess is reluctant for him to go on the holiday. Jason cancels his plans to join. Billy finds a note from Jess admitting she has been seeing Jason and the baby is his. She has left with Jason and their unborn child for a holiday, leaving Billy devastated.

FADE IN:
INT. BILLY’S LOUNGE - DAY
Billy and Jason are sat on the sofa in the lounge of Jess
and Billy’s house. They are discussing about where to go on
a lad’s holiday. They continue discussing before they are
interrupted by Jess asking Billy to get something from the
shop. This means that Jess and Jason are alone, meaning
they begin to talk about Billy behind his back.
BILLY
Seriously though, where are we gonna go?
JASON
I’m thinking like Ayia Napa or Magaluf,
it’ll be warm and think of the clubs
aswell.
BILLY
Hmmm… they would be good but then Jess
would think I’m cheating on her going
somewhere like that.
JASON
You worry way too much about what she
thinks mate.
[Jess enters]
JESS
Billy…
BILLY
What now?
JESS
Can you go to the shop to get dinner
please?
BILLY
What’s wrong with your legs?
(Jess looks angrily, whilst Billy rolls his eyes)

Fine!
[Billy exits]
JESS
You can’t go on holiday with him, we need
to tell him.
JASON
That’s the worst thing we could do.
Cuts to:
INT. KITCHEN – DAY
Jess and Jason are now stood in the kitchen. Whilst Billy
returns from the shop carrying a bag. Jason then leaves and
Billy and Jess are left to talk about this holiday. Jess is
reluctant for them to go but he thinks that it’s because
she doesn’t want to be alone. Jess then panics and tells
Billy that she is pregnant. Billy is naturally thrilled
and excited however he still wants to go on this holiday as
it is early days in her pregnancy.
BILLY
I’m back, you can stop talking about me
now.
(Jess and Jason both look at each other
very awkwardly)
JASON
Right! I’m going to have to go so you both
soon.
[Jason exits]
JESS
So where have you decided to go then?
BILLY
I don’t know, somewhere hot.

JESS
(Whilst tearing up) I don’t want you to go
anywhere.
BILLY
What? Why?
JESS
Umm..I I I’m pregnant.
BILLY
Oh my god that’s amazing!
JESS
Yeah I suppose.
BILLY
I don’t understand why you’re not happy?
JESS
(Shrugging) No, I am.
BILLY
Ok well I can still go on this holiday
can’t I?
JESS
I don’t know.
Cuts to:
INT. BILLY’S LOUNGE – EVENING
Billy gets a phone call from Jason saying that he is not
able to come on this holiday. Billy is very confused and
suspicious as Jason is acting very weirdly on the
answerphone. Billy then rings Jess and leaves a message on
the answerphone to tell her that she can now come on the
holiday because Jason can’t. He then receives a text back
from Jess telling him where the suitcases are.

JASON
[Answerphone message] Hi, um mate just ringing to um
let you know that I can’t make the holiday. You will
soon know why. Sorry.
BILLY
Hi babe it’s only me, just calling to let
you know that Jason can’t make the holiday
so I was wondering if you wanted to come.
If so where are the suitcases? Speak to
you later, love you.
JESS TEXT MESSAGE READS:
Can’t speak now but cases are in spare
room, passports in front pocket.
Cuts to:
INT. BILLY’S HOUSE – DAY
Billy goes upstairs to find the suitcases in the spare room
where he reaches for the passports inside and he finds just
his with a note inside. He reads this in his head but the
audience can hear Jess’ voice. After reading this Billy
puts his head in his hands and begins to sob.
JESS
I know that I have been acting weird
recently and there is a good reason why.
You may think it’s because I am pregnant
and it is, but it is because I am pregnant
with someone else’s baby. I have wanted to
tell you for ages but couldn’t bring
myself to do it. I am sorry but I am
taking my baby on this holiday with my
baby and the father. This is why you won’t
be seeing Jason for a while. We have been
seeing each other for a while now and I am
sorry but he is the one for me. We have
left some money for you but if you cared
about me you wouldn’t be angry at me.
Sorry Billy.

EXT. JASON’S CAR – DAY

Jason and Jess are in the car getting ready to drive the
airport. Jess looks very worried and has tears in her eyes.
Jason puts his hand on Jess’ stomach and reassures her and
the baby.
JASON
It’s ok, you’re with Daddy now.
