- Lead a team to design and build a rocket for a competition to carry the heaviest payload to the highest altitude within constraints of a 5120N maximum thrust and 33lb maximum weight. - The rocket design includes a 3D printed nose cone, carbon fiber airframe, onboard electronics and GPS systems, and a dual deployment recovery system to separate the 20lb payload at apogee and 10,000ft. - Simulations were run to optimize the design, including payload location and weight, fin sizing, stability ratio, and nose cone geometry to maximize the rocket's score.
