Duties and responsibilities handled:
• Conducts trimestral compliance audit and detailed operations review on the thirty-eight (38) Expressions outlets,
seven (7) Mart One Department Stores and twenty-eight (28) ExCel Centers.
• Prepares and issues consolidated audit report on the result of Compliance Audit that includes the auditor’s opinion
and recommendations on the exceptions and irregularities noted during audit.
• Incidental with the review, identify areas where operating efficiency and cost savings measures should be
implemented and make necessary recommendations.
• Regularly review other phases of store operations and warehouse operations which are directly and indirectly
contributing to inventory inaccuracies and/or overages or shrinkages.
• Regularly review the existing guidelines and SOP’s that concern Loss Prevention Strategies if still effective and
implemental. Make and issues recommendations for enhancements if necessary.
• Evaluates and analyzes incidence of delivery discrepancies and loss and breakages reports from the outlets and
distribution centers mentioned above through the use of system of automated system (SAP). Identify and established
the cause and nature of the delivery discrepancies and loss and breakage and avoid recurrence of the same.
Formulates programs or initiative that could be implemented by the store and/or centers.
• Regular review and monitoring of the outlets’ compliance and implementation of the appropriate recommendations
issued on the exceptions noted during the review.
• Conducts an impartial review and investigation on the reported incidents endorsed by the Loss Prevention
Department-Security Group like theft, store personnel pilferage and other concerns of security.
• Periodically generates a consolidated exception report on the noted exceptions or infractions during Compliance
Audit in order to identify the areas of the Store Operations that needs to be improved.
• Conducts or performs special review as instructed or authorized by the Loss Prevention Manager upon request of
other units or departments.
