The first thing I did when looking at the topics was deciding which topics, I found to be interesting to research. Some of the topics caught my attention but I had very strong feelings for one side of the argument verse the other side. I did not want to take the chance of my essay being to one sided, so I eliminated them. Then I was left with

My degree and future career is in education so I feel this is a good chance to do something different, and that is why I chose

Identify the global societal issue you have chosen to research for your Final Paper, an argumentative essay, and explain why further research on this topic is important.
The issue I decide to talk about is lack of education. Education has not reached its peak due to change. Change is funny as it overwhelms people with different emotions. For instance, change can foster fear, happiness, doubt, uncertainty, acceptance, and love. Further study is required because “while nearly everyone engaged in the debate about schooling acknowledges that more resources is not a panacea (solution) the question is whether budgets can be expanded on specific items in a way that would increase the efficacy of schooling” (Pritchett, 2004, pg. 4, para. 1).

Change is inevitable whether you like it or not, it will happen. It does matter if it is for the betterment of mankind or the destruction of humanity. To be better prepared we need to improve our education infrastructure around the world. The fear of change has crippled us causing our education standards to decline. The reason change needs to happen is because we have become unaware, less knowledgeable, disconnect and less than human. Making higher education available for all would have caught this dilemma sooner, provided solutions using social justice, and replace fear with compassion and the will to act. The truth high quality education is a need not a want.

Countries with deficient infrastructure are left behind or forgotten. Arditi (2004) stated, “the third salient aspect of globalization arises from the exponential increase in the pace of political, technological, economic, or cultural change. Its impact is undecidable” (pg. 3, para. 2)

Meaning that the future is not written yet. We have an opportunity to change it for the better.

Arif (2016) outlines, “There are factors affecting the embodiment and development of higher education institutions. Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development countries seem to use a one-time large payment to pay for higher education which only make up about nine percent of higher learning.

The Harmful Effect of Personal Technology to Students

Abstract
This paper discusses the subject matter that students are being harmed by their overdependence on personal digital technology. It highlights four main points to support this argument and offers one counter argument. It concludes by stating that in as much as technology does harm students, it has contributed to the quality of education.
Overdependence of personal digital technology by students should be monitored and regulated as they are adversely affected.
First, statistics report that three in four teens (74%) aged 12-17 own cell phones, tablets and other devices (Pew Research Centre, 2013). This is alarming as one wonders what time do they get to their studies and even socializing. Students’ overdependence on technology adversely affects their social skills which enhance interaction and communication with others.

An annotated bibliography is a list of citations going to be used for a formal academic
assignment. It contains appropriately APA formatted reference citations for each source, and
then each of those citation entries will be followed by a descriptive and evaluative paragraph,
known as the annotation. The purpose of annotated bibliographies is to help students to evaluate
the quality and purpose of the chosen article for their assignment.
An annotated bibliography will begin with the simple heading Annotated Bibliography centered
across the top of the page in Times New Roman 12 point font. It should not be bolded,
italicized, underlined, or placed in ALL CAPS.
You will need to cite your entry using APA formatting. Rules for APA can be found here:

keep in mind.
The entire document will be double spaced. There should not be extra spaces inserted
between entries.
Entries should not be organized using bullets or numbering.
The entries should be alphabetized by the last name of the first author of each work.
Authors’ names are inverted (last name first); give the last name and initials for all authors
of a particular work.
All lines after the first line of each entry in your reference list should be indented one half
inch from the left margin. This is called hanging indentation.
If you have more than one article by the same author, single-author references or multiple-
author references with the exact same authors in the exact same order are listed in order by
the year of publication, starting with the earliest.
Italicize titles of longer works such as books and journals.
Do not italicize, underline, or put quotes around the titles of shorter works such as journal
articles or essays in edited collections.
Only the first word of an article, the first word after a colon, and any proper nouns should be
capitalized.

The global societal issue I have chosen to research for my final paper is Climate change. Further research is needed because many things can cause change to the climate, which is why it is essential to choose a subtopic of climate change. The subtopic that I have chosen is the oil industry’s problem between profits and CO2 emissions. The oil industry is trying to meet demand but also causing change to the climate through emissions. More research is needed to develop points and evidence, which are needed for both sides of the argument. Research is also necessary to create a possible solution.

Carbon Dioxide emissions emitted by oil companies contribute to climate change, and a possible solution is providing oil companies bonuses or tax exemptions for exceeding emission regulations.

The global societal issue of climate change impacts the entire world population. There are oil and natural gas companies all around the world meeting the growing demand of oil and gas. There is not one specific population that this global issue impacts.

In the scholarly source, Krauss (2019) states, "Chevron and Occidental, which have each taken seats on Carbon Engineering's board, refused to disclose their investments. The company says it raised a total of $68 million in its most recent funding round to expand the pilot and develop its first commercial plant" (pg. 1). That is a lot of money, but to those companies, it is just a drop in the bucket, but that isn't what is most surprising. Most surprising is that there is no product, machine, or process outside of testing mode that works. What is Chevron (who is one of the leading oil companies) doing with the money invested since it has not found a way to remove carbon from the climate? There were no numbers to put with the dollar amount of what they were going to do by a certain time. I find that very surprising and a bit intriguing. It has nothing to do with availability or how possible it is to reduce emissions but a matter of who will do it. According to Krauss (2019), "A few companies, including Royal Dutch Shell and BP, are linking compensation to emissions reductions" (pg. 1). Even countries that are not as big of producers as chevron and other companies are doing what they can to increase spending to have clean energy. Hello everyone,
The global societal issue that I have chosen to research for my final paper is the refugee crisis. Further research on this topic is important and absolutely necessary as the numbers continue to change. More people are dying, more people are seeking refuge in other places, more people are hungry. More people are being killed by rebels. The horror that these people have been facing for decades continues.
Thesis statement: More than twenty-five million refugees exist today. One-sixth of the world's population lives on less than one dollar a day. 1.1 billion people lack access to safe drinking water. One-third of the world has no electricity.
This global societal issue, the refugee crisis impacts a specific population indeed. 56 percent of the world's 21 million refugees are being hosted by just 10 countries - all in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. Although America has much to do with the struggles of these countries, no American or European countries are suffering the way these people are. These are are people of color and it's disgusting when we can do a lot more to help.
The top five countries that account for the most refugees in the world today are countries that are already fighting for themselves. Still they are helping others seek refuge. There is so much to study in order to spread the message.

This article discusses the main lessons learned from the management of the design of the 'Water Cube' National Swimming Aquatic Centre (a landmark building for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games), including forming an international partnership, managing cultural differences and risks, dealing with intellectual property and ownership of design to establish a legacy. The article also discusses design management strategies and innovations. It was found that Beijing's lack of regulatory transparency, regional differences and a relationship-based business culture were some of the factors that made China a challenging project environment. Cultural understanding and relationship (guanxi) building were fundamental strategies in responding to these challenges. It was also found that developing a shared ownership of intellectual property and innovative design ideas may facilitate the collaboration between Western and Chinese partners. In addition, it was necessary for the foreign design and project management teams to be continuously involved in the construction stage to ensure the conversion of design into reality, construction quality and personal fulfilment. Yet it came to pass that the shoemaker from Gschaid married the Millsdorf dyer's daughter, and the couple had two children, Conrad and Sanna.
One unusually warm Christmas Eve, the two children set out on the path from the northward valley, through pine forest and over the pass, to visit their grandmother in the valley to the south. Their mother had sent Conrad and Sanna to their grandparents in Millsdorf to give them Christmas greetings and presents. Conrad and little Sanna set out early, arrived in time for lunch, and were kissed and showered with gifts by their adoring grandmother. Yet she insisted that they start for home early. The temperature was dropping, and ice was forming on the puddles in the road. As Conrad and Sanna climbed the path back toward home, a significant snowfall began. It was a snowfall the villagers later called once in a century: "unprecedented, unwearying, and voracious." The children climbed and climbed, but their path never descended as it should; they never find their familiar landmark.
On the way home, they “fell into” heavy snowfall which became so dense that they could see only the very nearest trees. They looked for their usual signpost.
"Shall we see the post today?" asked the girl. "The snow will fall on it and the red color will be white."

In 1925, Mr. Rogers, Sr. invented the world’s first alternating current (AC) radio tube, which enabled radios to be powered by ordinary household current. Secondly, a nurse may experience culture shock in a multicultural city. Thirdly, another challenge could be rejection by the city residents. When there is a new nurse with different cultural beliefs and values, chances are the residents might reject the nurse’s services and prefer to be served by only home nurses. This is because people feel comfortable receiving care from people who understand their cultural beliefs and values.

Exercise Name
Risk Management Plan
Purpose
Development of the risk management plan template provides students with hands-on experience
in creating this key project management deliverable. Development of the template supports the
ability to evaluate and recommend project risk management processes and best practices. In
addition, effective project managers have experience in creating project documentation for all
aspects of a project effort. Completion of this exercise will provide students with an opportunity
to gain experience in developing a risk management plan based on a specific case scenario.
Description
As the assigned Project Manager at Rolls Royce in support of the Enterprise Resource Planning
(ERP) project, you have been asked to create a Risk Management Plan for the effort. Since the
organization is just beginning development of their project management practices, they have
asked you to create a Risk Management Plan template for use in their new Project Management
Office (PMO). They are also asking you to develop a Risk Management Plan in support of the
ERP system rollout – using your template. The following two items must be submitted for this
assignment.
1. Template – Risk Management Plan
This will be a blank template with a cover page, section headings, and section
descriptions. Students are expected to develop their own template based on online
research. Search using keywords “Project Risk Management Plan”,“Project Risk
Management Plan Template”, “Project Risk Management Plan Sample”, and “Project
Risk Management Plan Best Practices”.
2. Risk Management Plan
You will use your template to create a risk management plan in support of the course case
study using your template. Leverage details from the case scenario to develop your plan.
You are free to fill in any gaps in the case details to develop a comprehensive plan.
Check with your instructor in regard to any questions related to the case scenario.
Note: Assignments with spelling and/or grammar errors will be returned for correction and
resubmission which may result in a late penalty.

The Harmful Effect of Personal Technology to Students

Abstract
This paper discusses the subject matter that students are being harmed by their overdependence on personal digital technology. It highlights four main points to support this argument and offers one counter argument. It concludes by stating that in as much as technology does harm students, it has contributed to the quality of education.
Overdependence of personal digital technology by students should be monitored and regulated as they are adversely affected.
First, statistics report that three in four teens (74%) aged 12-17 own cell phones, tablets and other devices (Pew Research Centre, 2013). This is alarming as one wonders what time do they get to their studies and even socializing. Students’ overdependence on technology adversely affects their social skills which enhance interaction and communication with others.

An annotated bibliography is a list of citations going to be used for a formal academic
assignment. It contains appropriately APA formatted reference citations for each source, and
then each of those citation entries will be followed by a descriptive and evaluative paragraph,
known as the annotation. The purpose of annotated bibliographies is to help students to evaluate
the quality and purpose of the chosen article for their assignment.
An annotated bibliography will begin with the simple heading Annotated Bibliography centered

The global societal issue I have chosen to research for my final paper is Climate change. Further research is needed because many things can cause change to the climate, which is why it is essential to choose a subtopic of climate change. The subtopic that I have chosen is the oil industry’s problem between profits and CO2 emissions. The oil industry is trying to meet demand but also causing change to the climate through emissions. More research is needed to develop points and evidence, which are needed for both sides of the argument. Research is also necessary to create a possible solution.

Carbon Dioxide emissions emitted by oil companies contribute to climate change, and a possible solution is providing oil companies bonuses or tax exemptions for exceeding emission regulations.

The global societal issue of climate change impacts the entire world population. There are oil and natural gas companies all around the world meeting the growing demand of oil and gas. There is not one specific population that this global issue impacts.
Locate a peer-reviewed scholarly source and provide statistical data that you found surprising on the topic.
In the scholarly source, Krauss (2019) states, "Chevron and Occidental, which have each taken seats on Carbon Engineering's board, refused to disclose their investments. The company says it raised a total of $68 million in its most recent funding round to expand the pilot and develop its first commercial plant" (pg. 1). That is a lot of money, but to those companies, it is just a drop in the bucket, but that isn't what is most surprising. Most surprising is that there is no product, machine, or process outside of testing mode that works. What is Chevron (who is one of the leading oil companies) doing with the money invested since it has not found a way to remove carbon from the climate? There were no numbers to put with the dollar amount of what they were going to do by a certain time. I find that very surprising and a bit intriguing. It has nothing to do with availability or how possible it is to reduce emissions but a matter of who will do it. According to Krauss (2019), "A few companies, including Royal Dutch Shell and BP, are linking compensation to emissions reductions" (pg. 1). Even countries that are not as big of producers as chevron and other companies are doing what they can to increase spending to have clean energy. Hello everyone,
The global societal issue that I have chosen to research for my final paper is the refugee crisis. Further research on this topic is important and absolutely necessary as the numbers continue to change. More people are dying, more people are seeking refuge in other places, more people are hungry. More people are being killed by rebels. The horror that these people have been facing for decades continues.
Thesis statement: More than twenty-five million refugees exist today. One-sixth of the world's population lives on less than one dollar a day. 1.1 billion people lack access to safe drinking water. One-third of the world has no electricity.
This global societal issue, the refugee crisis impacts a specific population indeed. 56 percent of the world's 21 million refugees are being hosted by just 10 countries - all in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. Although America has much to do with the struggles of these countries, no American or European countries are suffering the way these people are. These are are people of color and it's disgusting when we can do a lot more to help.
The top five countries that account for the most refugees in the world today are countries that are already fighting for themselves. Still they are helping others seek refuge. There is so much to study in order to spread the message.

When I first started reading about the refugee crisis, Afghanistan was among the first countries on the list, right after Cambodia which followed Sierra Leone. Abstract:
This article discusses the main lessons learned from the management of the design of the 'Water Cube' National Swimming Aquatic Centre (a landmark building for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games), including forming an international partnership, managing cultural differences and risks, dealing with intellectual property and ownership of design to establish a legacy. The article also discusses design management strategies and innovations. It was found that Beijing's lack of regulatory transparency, regional differences and a relationship-based business culture were some of the factors that made China a challenging project environment. Cultural understanding and relationship (guanxi) building were fundamental strategies in responding to these challenges. It was also found that developing a shared ownership of intellectual property and innovative design ideas may facilitate the collaboration between Western and Chinese partners. In addition, it was necessary for the foreign design and project management teams to be continuously involved in the construction stage to ensure the conversion of design into reality, construction quality and personal fulfilment. Long, long ago — perhaps maybe some time in the seventeenth century somewhere in the Alps, two valleys with a village each - Gschaid and Millsdorf - lay next to each other, ringed by high mountains and linked by a sole, lonely path. Due to this separation, the inhabitants considered each other as strangers. Yet it came to pass that the shoemaker from Gschaid married the Millsdorf dyer's daughter, and the couple had two children, Conrad and Sanna.
One unusually warm Christmas Eve, the two children set out on the path from the northward valley, through pine forest and over the pass, to visit their grandmother in the valley to the south. Their mother had sent Conrad and Sanna to their grandparents in Millsdorf to give them Christmas greetings and presents. Conrad and little Sanna set out early, arrived in time for lunch, and were kissed and showered with gifts by their adoring grandmother. Yet she insisted that they start for home early. The temperature was dropping, and ice was forming on the puddles in the road. As Conrad and Sanna climbed the path back toward home, a significant snowfall began. It was a snowfall the villagers later called once in a century: "unprecedented, unwearying, and voracious." The children climbed and climbed, but their path never descended as it should; they never find their familiar landmark.
On the way home, they “fell into” heavy snowfall which became so dense that they could see only the very nearest trees. They looked for their usual signpost.
"Shall we see the post today?" asked the girl. "The snow will fall on it and the red color will be white."
"We shall be able to see it," replied the boy; "even if the snow falls upon it and makes it white all over we are bound to see it, because it is a thick post, and because it has the black iron cross on its top will surely stick out."

Ted Rogers, who died in 2008 was the visionary behind Rogers Communications Inc.. He was considered a communications industry pioneer and a titan in Canadian business.
Mr. Rogers, known for his relentless drive, built Rogers Communications into a Canadian leader in wireless telecommunications, cable television, broadcasting, and publishing. Rogers Communications Inc. owns Canada's largest wireless telecommunications company, the country's largest cable company, the Toronto Blue Jays and Rogers Centre (formerly the SkyDome), 52 radio stations, several television properties including five CityTV outlets, five OMNI multicultural stations, Rogers Sportsnet, the Shopping Channel and more than 70 consumer and trade magazines.
In naming him Man of the Year in 2000, Toronto Life magazine dubbed Ted Rogers "Mr. Toronto". In only a matter of months, Ted Rogers had stepped up to the plate and saved the city's beleaguered major league baseball team, the Toronto Blue Jays, and, along with wife Loretta, donated $25 million to the University of Toronto (the school's largest-ever personal donation) and $10 million to Ryerson University. Any history of the Rogers group of companies today must begin with a salute to Edward S. Rogers, Sr. Every time a radio is turned on in Canada, the dream of Edward S Rogers, Sr. continues to be realized. He envisioned radio as an electric pipeline, reaching into people’s homes to entertain, inform and educate.
In 1925, Mr. Rogers, Sr. invented the world’s first alternating current (AC) radio tube, which enabled radios to be powered by ordinary household current. This was a dramatic breakthrough in technology and it became the key factor in popularizing radio reception. After this invention radios became far more commonplace.
In 1931, Mr. Rogers, Sr. was awarded an experimental TV licence. He was working on radar when on May 6, 1939 he died at the young age of 38. He left a widow, Velma, and a 5 year old son, Edward. His business interests were sold. However, his son Edward (Ted Rogers) was determined to carry on the important legacy.

Challenges of practicing in a multicultural city
There are so many challenges of practicing in a multicultural city. Communication barrier is one of the challenges. When the practitioner and the patient cannot communicate efficiently, therefore the nurse will not be able to deliver effectively (Murcia & Lopez, 2016). Secondly, a nurse may experience culture shock in a multicultural city. This happens when nurses are confronted with very new cultural beliefs and values and then they try to compare with their own beliefs and everything looks so new. Thirdly, another challenge could be rejection by the city residents. When there is a new nurse with different cultural beliefs and values, chances are the residents might reject the nurse’s services and prefer to be served by only home nurses. This is because people feel comfortable receiving care from people who understand their cultural beliefs and values.

The phrase “American dream” was invented during the Great Depression. It comes from a popular 1931 book by the historian James Truslow Adams, who defined it as “that dream of a land in which life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone.”

The global societal issue that I have chosen to write about is a
lack of education. I have chosen a topic that I know little about,
so I would not have a bias or show one side on the subject. The
lack of education can be from many different things such as
poverty, choice, law, etc.

The method I used to identify and narrow down my topic is

(C.R.A.A.P). Using C.R.A.A.P helped me evaluate the articles
and web sources that I found by makings sure they are relevant
to my topic, current and providing up to date information,
scholarly sources, and the author make the purpose the article is
definite.

There are three ways that you can analyze a source to determine
if they are scholarly. First, check the credentials of the author.
You can use a search engine such as goggle to see if they have
written other articles. The second way you can analyze a source
is scholarly, and that’s by seeing if they are “peer-reviewed”.
This means and expects in that areas have reviewed and written
their analyses on the topic. The final way you can analyze if a
source is scholarly is to see if they provide other references and
citations. If a source cannot provide citations, you should
proceed with caution. They might not be providing correct
information.
Summarize information from at least two scholarly journal
articles from the Ashford University Library that will support
your claims for your chosen topic.
The first article I have found on the topic lack of education is
Right or Duty: Reinterpretation of the Nature of the Right to
Education in the Compulsory Education Stage. In this article,
the authors Shen Suping and Chen Zijian discuss how under the
constitution in China, whether or not all children have the right
or duty to have an education.

education is “United States: Science, Math Education Gap
Fueled by Lack of Knowledge on Career Opportunities, Survey
Shows.” This article states that our youth in the united states
are allowed to attend school, but due to lack of knowledge of
programs, they are not engaging in things such as STEAM.

I thought of writing a paper about "Lack of Education" but I
thought that I would sound too biased about the topic. You
choose a great topic "Climate Control", I did a paper on climate
control in one of my courses. You will find a lot of information

direction will you go in climate control, did you choose a sub-

HAMAD'S POST:
Alexander Hamilton, as the Secretary of the Treasury in the
Federal government, believed in loose construction of the U.S
constitution. This meant that the Congress could establish laws
as long as the constitution did not specifically prohibit those
8. laws. Loose construction of the constitution gave Federal
government extensive do execute whatever felt necessary for the
country. This is a belief born from Hamilton’s school of thought
towards human beings and governance. He felt that issues with
governance should be made up of small and sensible group of
characterized with wisdom, talent and intelligence. Hamilton
supported the U.S Constitution that would allow strong
executive in the capacity of a president and powerful Federal
government with influence on the individual states. Through his
series of Federal Papers captured by Kozlowski & Weber, he
firmly backed Article 1, section 8 of the Constitution that
empowered the Congress to “make any law which shall be
necessary and proper(2010).” This clause gave federal
government loose interpretation of the Constitution to make
laws that seemed necessary and proper to the people.
For example, the Medicare/Medicaid issue that has dominated
the Congress since 2017 could have been so far settled without
the involvement of the state governments. The states want
lifting of the caps placed on the minimal amounts and eligibility
criteria employed to settle for a beneficiary. The Federal
government, however, want imposing of these caps on the
minimum amount and eligibility of the elderly, poor and people
with disabilities benefiting from this program. Loose
construction of the Constitution would have bestowed the
responsibility of making a law proper and necessary to address
this condition without consulting the state governments. As of
2020, half of the states have capped the Medicaid at 783 dollars
per month for single applicant and 1,175 dollars for a couple
according to the Kaiser Family Foundation website. This would
have been a responsibility of the Federal government to make a
law that would settle the matter for the welfare of the people.

As defined loose construction is seen as laws that were
established that do not prohibit the constitution. A topic that
isn't as controversial as it has been is same sex marriage. The
Tenth Amendment Network published an article on this topic
and the controversy around it. As we know most if not all
states now view same sex marriage as a marriage under the law
and is a valid marriage. This movement in the law explains
loose construction exactly, in the times where the constitution
was written, same sex marriage was not a thing, but the culture
we are in now has changed things. Loose construction is said to
follow the culture and current times but still does not go against
the constitution. Although many people may not agree with
these laws and believe its wrong based on their religion but the
final word is the constitution and this law does not go against it.
