The Roer4D project focuses on the research and impact of Open Educational Resources (OER) in enhancing post-secondary education accessibility in the Global South over a three-year timeframe, backed by CAD 2 million in funding. It involves multiple sub-projects across regions including South America, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Southeast Asia, aiming to empirically support educational reforms and build capacity among OER researchers. The project encompasses diverse activities, including literature reviews, surveys, and studies on the adoption and effects of OER in various educational contexts.
