Individuals can contribute by donating to charities, joining missionary outreach, or organizing fundraising events to support poverty relief efforts.
This document discusses developing a distinct cuisine to strengthen Toronto's cultural identity. It proposes creating "mosaic" or "collision" dishes that blend flavors from Toronto's diverse communities in a simple yet creative way. A panel of chefs would select up to 20 dishes annually that meet strict criteria, such as retaining the integrity of each culture's flavors and symbolizing meaningful cultural interactions. Examples of successfully blended cuisines from other cities are provided. Developing Toronto's own dishes, drinks and spices could promote the city's unique diversity on a global scale. Public involvement would help establish this cuisine throughout Toronto.
The document discusses homelessness in New York City, providing statistics on the number of homeless people from the Coalition for the Homeless. It notes that over 39,000 people used homeless shelters in 2011, including over 15,000 children. This document discusses eradicating extreme poverty and hunger. It describes a trip to orphanages in Mexico where people lived in poor conditions without basic necessities. Many only ate 1-2 meals per day. While homelessness exists in Seattle, shelters could house all who need them if outreach increased and volunteers helped provide food and water. Making the greatest contribution could involve further outreach in Mexico, where conditions involve a lack of clean water and regular food. Social media can uniquely spread awareness of countries suffering terrible conditions and help raise donations to improve conditions.

Trinagel continues to live his dream of seeking out and learning
about new peoples, cultures, customs and cuisines around the
globe.
3. Robert Trinagel’s love of travel has not only broadened his
horizons, but has also served to reinforce his belief in the value
of helping others. Inspired to be of service to others, Robert
Trinagel set out to establish a soup kitchen within his
hometown; one that continues to be a source of food and
support to those in need throughout the local community.
4. As Robert Trinagel knows, helping others not only
demonstrates one’s devotion to those in need, but is essential
to the development of a strong and compassionate local
community. Without the commitment and generosity of local
volunteers in cities, regions and communities, many wouldn’t
have the resources (food, clean water, education, etc.) needed
not only to provide for their families, but to survive through
the months and years to come.
