3. INTRODUCTION
According to UN ESCAP report , the
road accidents are a growing
worldwide problem – around 1
million deaths and over 23 million
injuries per year, and approx 85% of
these deaths are occurred in
developing countries. Accidents
mainly occurs due to the fault of the
drivers or the person who drives the
vehicle. .

5. CONCEPTS USED
In our project we have used the following concepts:
1)We have used spring bumpers and hydraulic breaks in
cars .
2)We have also used the concept of footstep power
generation system to generate electricity .
6. HOW IT WORKS
This project is totally based on the prevention of road accidents
In this we have used two concepts.
1) In 1st concept we have created a bumper using springs which
we have placed in rear and front part of the car , so when
two cars will collide with each other most of its force will be
tolerated by the spring bumper , so it will cause less damage
to the cars and passengers .
We have also used special hydraulic breaks which will
help to immediately stop the car even though if it has a great
velocity .
7. 2)The footstep power generation system is to capture the
typically wasted energy surrounding a system and
transforming it into electrical energy. The technique used in
gaining the energy is via piezoelectric materials.
A piezoelectric crystal is placed between two metal plates that
are in a perfect balance (even if they’re not symmetrically
arranged) and does not conduct an electric current. Metal
plates apply Mechanical force or stress to the material. Electric
charges forced within the crystal are out of balance. Excess
negative and positive charges appear on opposite sides of the
crystal face. The metal plate collects these charges and
produces a voltage that sends an electrical current through a
circuit. This transforms to piezoelectricity.

This project can be used in following ways :
1)In prevention of road accidents.
2)To reduce traffic on roads.
3)Will save the lives of people.
4)Will reduce the damage of the cars.
5) Will help in producing electricity using
footstep power generation system.
