- #4 Slide 3: The Big Idea: People should stop buying plastic bottles. There are healthier and more environmentally conscious ways and it is taking a huge toll on our environment.
- #5 Slide 4: What’s in it for your audience?: The world has an ethical obligation to preserve the planet. We are destroying the ocean with waste. We need the ocean and animals to maintain a natural ecosystem. Refillable bottles are also significantly cheaper than buying bottled water by the case. People are being ripped off.
- #6 Slide 5: Why should your audience listen to you?: My audience should listen to me because I’m one of them. I used to be part of the problem. I love the water and the ocean and everything it offers. Like many that also enjoy it, I won’t be able to keep enjoying it if we don’t take care of it.
