Scope of work at Warehouse
Based on the discussions with the Client team, the warehouse management
activity could be divided under the following broad heads.
Operations
• Receipt of merchandise against invoice
• Ensure the material mentioned in invoice is received
• Report any shortage or spoiled merchandise receipt
• Do needful with the help of staff to claim insurance
• Prepare GRN
• Put MRP sticker ( in case of Imported goods)
• Put away the merchandise
• Ensure that all invoices and other documentation is filed and kept properly
• Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures of Client.
Outbound operations
• Generate pick list
• Pick the merchandise
• Pack the material for dispatch to stores
