3. About the Trainer
Mr. Dieter MOLL is the Director and Lead Trainer with RCS and is a highly resourceful, flexible, innovative, and
enthusiastic safety and security professional specializing in Project HSE, Security, Hospitality, Loss Prevention,
Critical Infrastructure Protection, Emergency Response, Disaster Planning, Incident Command, Maritime Security,
Counter Insurgency and OHS.
He has over thirty-five years of applied safety and security experience, knowledge and practical application
of Industrial Safety and Security systems gained through formal studies and experience in the South African Para-
Military Police and Commercial and Industrial Safety and Security as well as the Oil + Gas Industry environment in
Africa as well as the GCC and Middle East Regions.
His practical experience operationally provides a solid base for specialist training in promoting a safe and secure
environment for staff and customers. He has extensive knowledge of relevant safety and security equipment,
policies, procedures, and strategies to deal with emergency situations. He possesses excellent written and oral
communication skills and is able to interact effectively with students and Managers alike.

Dieter has various Health and Safety certification including NEBOSH (Tutor Status under contract) and IOSH.He
also holds a PFSO certification which allows him to actively conduct maritime security related training.
He is a TAFE Cert IV Workplace assessor and an experienced as a Tripod Beta Practitioner.
Dieter’s education and background makes him a specialist in Policing, Safety + Security, Management Systems
and Audit Compliance.
He holds dual Nationality and Passports (EU-German and South African) which allow him to travel extensively to
conduct training seminars, workshops and provide services as an industry consultant.
Having worked within the industry for over 35 Years and been part of various projects and project start-ups, he has
developed a wide range of skills that would meet, and exceed the expectations for any type of managerial /
operational training role .
He has provided extensive training to the Abu Dhabi Police in the fields of Environmental Safety and OHS as well
as Audit and Management System Compliance.

In his previous role as a Security and Safety Compliance Officer for Qatar Petroleum Industrial Security Directorate
(11½ Years) he has had many achievements, including writing the Emergency Response Plans for Safety and
Security as well as business continuity plans , creating Behavioral Safety program’s for the Security Directorate ,
implementing ISO 28000 standards and OHSAS 18001 , C-TPAT and ISPS Regulations as a Lead Auditor , PFSO
accreditation ,safety and security risk assessments ,SVR’s , HAZOPS and HAZIDS as well as risk mitigation
including administering security and safety training and has established and managed a regional training Centre as
well being competent in other field areas of Corporate Safety and Security in the Oil and Gas environment.
He developed the Qatar Government Approved Port Security Plan for Mesaieed Industrial Port.

Over the course of my career, I have been a trainer, instructional course designer and training Supervisor /
Consultant . My strength is in creating highly interactive, media rich classroom courses that use questions, role-
plays, scenarios, simulations, case studies, and practice exercises to facilitate teaching and learning. I also have
a talent for making complex subjects easy to understand and fun to learn. I have a real passion for teaching and
learning and I give people the ongoing coaching and support they need to be successful.
As a direct line supervisor , I have led several winning training programs in Safety and Security, including the
highly successful ZBV Back Scatter X Ray training for the Security Directorate of Qatar Petroleum. Our training
department was noted for having dedicated training and interaction of all the regions in the company. The reason
for my success has been in fostering a team oriented ( Qatari Nationals , Nepalese + Omani’s ) work environment
where everyone helped and coached one another and people were acknowledged for their outstanding efforts.
At the present time, I am running my own consultancy business called Risk Control Specialist. From home base in
Cape Town , South Africa and free lancing / consulting to the MENA Region . I am committed to providing
classroom and OJT training to job seekers and employers..
