Regional development organizations (RDOs) have emerged as key players in supporting economic recovery during the COVID-19 pandemic. By getting PPE into the hands of those who need it most, assisting businesses with access to resources and information, disbursing funding through grants and loans, coordinating region-wide recovery initiatives, and much more, RDOs are rising to the challenge and meeting the needs of their communities. During this roundtable discussion that opened the 2020 NADO Annual Training Conference, RDO leaders discussed ways their organizations are leveraging their programming, expertise, and partnerships to help navigate this uncertain economic landscape and better position their regions for recovery.
