The document discusses the Gonchi water management system in several villages. It provides details of achievements made in improving Gonchi channels such as GPS mapping, identifying repair needs, completing repairs, and increasing irrigated acreage and crop yields. It also discusses contributions made by local farmers toward repair works, expenditures on projects, innovations in agriculture, and difficulties overcome with community involvement. The Gonchi system is an old, democratic method of water distribution that remains effective in modern times when properly maintained through local cooperation and development initiatives.
Recent Study of Ground Water Quality of Sambalpur Municipal Corporation, Odis...IJERA Editor
Thirty three different locations like Industrial, Educational, Cultural, Business area in Sambalpur Municipal Corporation of Odisha, India, indicate pressure on unconfined aquifer condition at a depth varying from 0.6 to 40m below a thin soil horizon. The ground water sample collected from good numbers of bore wells during premonsoon period of 2016 were analyzed for different physico-chemical parameter ( hardness, Calcium , Sodium, Potassium, Magnesium, Fluoride, sulphate, Carbonate, Alkalinity, COD, DO, etc.) including their suitability for various process. The qualities of ground water sample of the study area indicate the dominance of host rocks as the controlling factor for chemical composition. Analysis of results showed that the ground water is fit for drinking as pert standard prescribed by World Health Organization

Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).
Putting the SPARK into Virtual Training.pptxCynthia Clay
This 60-minute webinar, sponsored by Adobe, was delivered for the Training Mag Network. It explored the five elements of SPARK: Storytelling, Purpose, Action, Relationships, and Kudos. Knowing how to tell a well-structured story is key to building long-term memory. Stating a clear purpose that doesn't take away from the discovery learning process is critical. Ensuring that people move from theory to practical application is imperative. Creating strong social learning is the key to commitment and engagement. Validating and affirming participants' comments is the way to create a positive learning environment.

Gonchi management system is very old democratic and strong one.
Gonchi is a Local Discipline water Governing Management System with well and
strong Social Regulations by the local Body.
Gonchi is good Modal for distribution of water even in modern times.
Some Gonchi Channels are breached, covered with silt and have damages at
culvert. Due to these the flow of water is very slow to reach the fields and in some
parts the water flow was stopped to meet the farmer’s lands.
So the Gonchi farmers are not getting sufficient water and number of farmer’s land is
reduced.
Gonchi has a good decision power management committee by the land owning
members and every farmer must follow the committee decision.
If any one neglects this he is punished.

Converted NREGS Works in Gonchi Channels. We have overcome from this problem
as Taken the all farmers of Gonchi to the MPDO office and the farmers said impact
about the Gonchi Channels if these are developed.
