Bhuhakku Mariyu Bhu Raksha Pathakam.
 Ananthapuramu District constituted with 503 Villages covered 31 Mandals after formation of new
Districts w.e.f 4.4.2022 the geographical extent is 10,402.20 Sq.Kms. i.e., in Acres 25,69,343.40
 Drone fly survey operations completed in 105 Villages with the co-ordination of Survey of India and
OMNI presents PVT. Ltd teams.

RESURVEY

a) YSR Jagananna Houses:
 68288 Houses are sanctioned under “Navarathnalu Pedalandariki Illu” Phase programme.
 47,304 Houses are taken up in 258 layouts and 20,984 houses are taken up in Own Sites.
 Grounding of 14,159 Not Started houses as 4,365 Houses recently Sanctioned in the 63rd CSMC (Ananthapuramu Urban -
615 Houses & Rapthadu Constituency – 3750 Houses)
 All the Houses which are not Grounded to be grounded before October 30,2022.
 27,527 Houses to be completed for Samuhika Gruha Praveshalu scheduled on December 21, 2022
 Alamuru Layout has been identified for inauguration of nearly 2000 Houses on 21st December 2022.
b) Option-III :
 15,678 Beneficiaries has opted Option - III for 12,276 houses taken up for construction.
 Out of which 12,276 houses. 12,262 Beneficiaries grounded and Rs.34.67 Crores payment has also been made to the
contractors.
B.PMAY-G 2021-22:
a) Administrative sanctions under PMAY Gramin 2021-22
 5,782 houses allotted to the Ananthapuramu District. Out of which 5,341 houses Administrative Sanction accorded and
remaining 441 houses are to be Administrative Sanction to be given.
b) Beneficiary Registrations(Awass Soft) under PMAY Gramin 2021-22
 Out of 5,341 houses 4,333 Beneficiary Registrations Completed in AE/EA level login. Balance 1,008 to be Registered in EA

– Rs 265.31 Lakhs and 8 works are in progress.
 36 PHC Buildings strengthening and repairs sanctioned for an amount of Rs. 20.00 Crores and
Expenditure incurred as on Date – Rs 516.54 Lakhs and 28 works completed and 8 works are in
progress.
 Strengthening of Existing Medical College & Govt. General Hospital at Ananthapuramu in Ananthapuramu
District. Administrative Sanction Administrative Sanction accorded vide G.O Ms No: 32, Health Medical &
Family Welfare Department, Dt.22-03-2021, for Rs.300.00 Crores. LOA issued to the agency for concluding
agreement and earth work is in progress.
 Strengthening of 10 CHCs has been taken up in 8 Assembly Constituencies with an estimated cost of
Rs.87.17 Crores out of which an amount of Rs.28.64 Crores worth of work has been done and all the works
are in brisk progress.

Agriculture & Allied Departments:
 Balance amount required / to be credited for Crop Insurance for Kharif 2021: Rs. 62.74 Crs.
 Balance amount required/ to be credited for Input Subsidy pending payment November 2021: Rs.15.08 Crs.
 Due to Heavy Rains in the month of September and October-2022, Input Subsidy required for Agriculture crops-
damages in an extent of 7769 Ha., Input subsidy required Amount:Rs.8.02 Crs. and for Horticulture crops damage an
extent of 459.50 Ha, an Amount Rs. 83.47 Lakhs is required.
 As discussed and requested in District Agriculture Advisory Board meeting, as per G.O. Ms.No.33 Dated:09.05.2022
Castor crop already notified in Guntur, Prakasam and Kurnool District under Dr. YSR Crop Insurance Scheme yield
based crop insurance. So in Ananthapuramu District, the Castor crop may be included under Dr.YSR Crop Insurance
Scheme due to cultivated area of Castor is 20542 Ha. as against the Normal of 11773 Ha.
 As discussed and requested in District Agriculture Advisory Board meeting, as per G.O. Ms.No.33 Dated:09.05.2022
Banana crop already notified in Srikakulam, Vijanagaram, East Godavari, West Godavari and Krishna District under Dr.
YSR Crop Insurance Scheme Restructured weather Based crop Insurance. So, in Ananthapuramu District, Banana Crop
may be included under Restructured weather Based crop Insurance scheme as the cultivated area under Banana in the
District is 23667 Ha as against the Normal of 18600 Ha.
 As of now only N, P and K Fertilizers, Seeds and Pesticides supplied through 451 RBKs in the district, but farmers
asking the supply of pre tested Water Soluble Fertilizers and Micro Nutrient through 451 RBKs. Total 449 Mts of Water
soluble fertilizers and total 1297 Mts of Micro nutrients required. i.e., Gypsum- 1056 Mts, Zinc Sulphate-156 Mts,
Boran- 44 Mts, Magnesium Sulphate-34 Mts and Ferrous Sulphate-7 Mts.
 Drip irrigation- requested permission for implantation of APMIP project in CLDI project area of three Mandals in area
of 20201 Ha, namely Uravakonda, Beluguppa and Kudair. (Under HNSS Phase-2)

BTP Lift Irrigation Scheme :
 An Amount of Rs. 144.97 Crs for land acquisition and Rs.544.33 Crs for implementation & completion works to develop an
ayacut of 23000 acres and to feed 2 TMC of water to BTP which benefits Rayadurg Constituency and to feed 114 Tanks in
Kalyandurgam Constituency.
Dr YSR Upper Pennar Project:
 Sanction & Release of Rs.385.52 Crs for Land acquisition and Rs.795.05 Crs for implementation & completion works, totally
Rs.1180.61 Crs to complete 4 reservoirs & one canal.

• Somaravandlapalli Reservoir
• Muttala Reservoir

Consequently, 1.81 TMC water will be supplied and one lakh acers of Ayacut will be developed
Construction of Distributory System for 1.00 Lakh Acers:
 Administrative sanction for Construction of distributories for developing ayacut of 65,600 Acres in Phase-I of HNSS project for
Rs.758.00 Crs which comes in Uravakonda, Kalyandurg & Rayadurg Constituencies.
Administrative Sanction is required for Rs.531.00 Crs for construction of distributory system for an ayacut of one lakh acres under
Phase-II of HNSS project in Uravakonda, Rapthadu & Dharmavaram Constituencies. Hon’ble Chief Minister also assured for
distributory System.
Modernisation of Thungabhadra High Level Main Canal:
 An amount of Rs. 640.00 Crs and permission is required to take balance works of Modernisation Thungabhadra High Level Main
Canal (HLMC) as the works are preclosed.

FIRE SERVICES:
 An Amount of Rs. 55.30 Lakhs may be sanctioned to procure 2 Boats, 10 hand operated tool kits and other equipment to
serve the public in any disasters to Fire Department.
PRED:
 An amount of Rs.19.12 Crs is to be paid under MGNREGS priority buildings.
 An amount of Rs.17.77 Crs is to be paid under MGNREGS non-priority Road works.

RURAL WATER SUPPLY:
 System staff salaries to Sri Sathya Sai Water Supply Project pending since June 2022 (CFMS bill no. 2022-1177898 for
Rs.2.99 Crs & 2022-1369417 for Rs.1.616 Crs.
 Proposals for restoration of damaged drinking water supply schemes for 27 works with an estimated cost of Rs. 2.81 Crs
submitted to Govt., vide letter Rc.No.3678/2022, Dt.13.10.2022 of the Dist.Collector, Ananthapuramu.
 Sanction and allocation of funds for an amount of Rs. 449.50 Crs to complete balance Land Acquisition pending in PABR
foreshore area to increase the storage capacity from 5.00 TMC to 11.00 TMC.
 Permission required to initiate Land Acquisition structures of Ullikallu Village (R&R) in Singanamala Mandal as well as allocation
of budget to a tune of Rs. 150.72 Crs. Letter submitted vide Rc.No.G2/3152/210 Dt: 11.10.2022
 5. Lakshumpalle village of Yellanur Mandal is an affected village under submergence of new Goddumarri anacutta falling within
100 mts. distance from FRL Contour +230.00. Proposals submitted to Government for approval of Lakshumpalle as affected
zone for allocation of Budget of Rs. 27.52 Crs for implementation of R&R scheme to Lakshumpalle village of Yellanur Mandal
under Goddumarri Project.

agency has started the construction of Water Treatment plant,
ELSR's & GLSR's in both the ULB's. The progress of work achieved
so far is 10 % in Pamidi and 5% in Gooty ULB. The progress of
work is poor as the agency has started construction of Structures
only and the pipe line works are not started in full shape. The
work of Distribution package was entrusted to M/S Harricons,
GPR Infra (JV) for Rs. 25.26 Crores for Pamidi and Rs. 40.03 Crores
for Gooty. The agency has supplied 16 Kms of pipe line for Pamidi
and 32 Kms for Gooty against agreement quantity of 46 Kms and
89 Kms. The work of laying of pipe lines is under progress. The
agencies have been informed to speed up the work and complete
the same with in agreement period of March 2023.

of 5.00 TMC to cover the needs of Irrigation & Drinking water schemes

Pradesh border of RBHLC. There is no provision for any storage upto
PABR Dam and on extent of 81,653 Acres of ayacut under HLMC & GBC
system is facing acute shortage of water in the tag end of the crop
period for water wetting. The Reservoir is more useful for Rayadurgam
& Uravakonda and Guntakal Constituencies for stabilization of ayacut
of 81,653 Acres under HLMC and GBC system and also useful for
stabilization of existing ayacut of 145236 Acres in Ananthapuramu
Disrict (both Dry & Wet).
The stored water in Unthakallu reservoir (NABR) can also be
supplied to PABR Dam whenever there is shortage of water arises for
supplying to the canal.
The Reservoir provides benefits to the mandals of Singanamala,
Guntakal, Tadipatri, Uravakonda, Rapthadu & Dharmavaram
Ananthapuramu District. The Detailed Project Report prepared by the
detp,. And submitted to the ENC (Irrigation), Vijayawada for approval.
It is very essential Reservoir required to the Ananthapuramu District.
The Unthakallu Reservoir is also included in the Hon”ble Chief Minster
assurances issued to the Ananthapuramu District.

flow water during flood days for the TBPHLC ayacut system. The flood
water can be supplied and stored in PABR Dam & MPR Dam for a full
capacity 11.10 TMC at PABR DAM and 5.00 TMC of water at MPR Dam.
The stored water can be successfully utilized for irrigation 1,78,970
Acres covering constituencies of Singanamala, Guntakal, Tadipatri,
Uravakonda, Rapthadu & Dharmavaram and also assumed supply of
water to MI tanks in the above said constituency enroute the canals.
Further the stored water can also supplied to Drinking &Industrial
water purpose.
The Construction of flood flow canal overcomes the deficiencies
existing in the TBPHLC system.
Estimate for S&L Operation is under submission for approval.

The TBPHLC system was constructed in the year 1956. It has
completed 6 decades. The TBPHLC system is one of the most
important systems in the drought prone Ananthapuramu District. It
serves 2.85 lakh acres of ayacut covering constituencies Rayadurgam,
Uravakonda , Ananthapuramu, Singanamala, Tadipatri, Guntakal,
Rapthadu, Dharmavaram, Pulivendula and several drinking schemes
are depende on TBPHLC system. Now the canal has reached to
dilapidated condition and not in a position to carry the discharge of
2600 Cusecs.
The modernization of HLMC work entrusted for 6 Agencies on
EPC basis to widen the canal to carry a discharge of 4200 Cusecs. But
the agencies have completed works duly leaving the
critical/vulnerable reaches & structures and applied for pre-closes of
works to Government. The Government have accorded permission to
pre-close the works vide GO.MS.No. 365 Dt: 08.07.2020 with a
condition not to take up the works up to 5 years. Due to this condition
it has become great difficult to draw the discharge of not more than
2000 Cusecs. The recasting balance works of HLMC are under
preparation for submission to the Govt., for approval.
Hence, it is requested to the Government to accord
permission to take up the works immediately duly relaxing the
GO.MS.No. 365 Dt: 08.07.2020 as a special case in the drought prone
area of Ananthapuramu District.
