3. Our new teacher will be able to teach students how to become critical thinkers who
are able to decipher and interpret information from multiple sources. The ability to
successfully teach reading comprehension will underpin this.
Our new teacher will need to be able to teach skills to enable students to become
self directed learners so that they understand their roles and responsibilities as a
learner.
Our new teacher will be able to build relationships with all students to discover
their specific strengths and areas to develop.
Our new teacher will work collaboratively, in a strong team, across all aspects of
the curriculum including planning, teaching and assessment, while also
