Since 1985, I have worked in four broad programs within adult and higher education, which consisted of Academic Affairs, Community Outreach Programs, Grant-Funded Programs, and Student Services. In doing so, I have coordinated, developed, facilitated, implemented, and planned first year initiatives, academic support, and student services for first-year students, returning adult learners, and transfer students. I have worked in the Adult Education field, Educational Opportunity Programs, Higher Education, and TRIO, while also working as an Educational Consultant. Adult Education is a great profession to work in, especially in this economy where there are so many displaced workers.
