July’96 – 1999: Jointed Intel Technology Sdn Bhd as new hirer and worked as Industrial
Engineer (Production Capacity Planning) who responsible to ensure production
capacity in placed to support products start-up and loading ramp. Obtained
fund approval and closely monitor to ensure all tools / collaterals docked per
schedule to support loading ramp.
Y2000 – 2002: Promoted become Group Leader to lead IE Team to ensure space, facility,
headcount and production capacity in place to support the loading.
: Led IE Team to consolidate PG2 operation into PG7 building and completed
consolidation activities within 4 months to empty out PG2 building.
Y2003 – 2004: Promoted become IE Section Head who led IE Group to support 1st
FCBGA
NPI start-up by establishing equipment baseline and headcount model.
: Ensure production capacity / headcount / space and facilities will not gating
new product start-up and ramp.
. : Led IE Team to drive productivity improvement projects to increase production
capacity.

:Look ahead on demand projection and proactive justify for capital fund needed
to pre-position production capacity to ensure able to support demand requested
from customers.
:Led a team consist of Module Engineer, Industrial Engineer and Manufacturing
to improve tester utilization from 60% to > 80% which avoided additional 10
Testers purchase which resulted > $10M capital saving. This can be achieved
through risk talking and leverage lean approach.
:Forecasted overall department spending budget and drive for cost saving to
ensure actual spending within budget allocated.
Y2011- May’15: IE and Production Planning Senior Manager who charted to manage mobile
products which is very importance for Intel Corporation. Led the organization
which consist of total 15 engineers (including manager level) to establish
equipment baseline and drive productivity improvement to meet cost target
through Direct Observation, kaizen and lean efforts. One of critical role for
this team is ensure production capacity in placed to support demand steep
ramp and new product introduction – new field that Intel will like to penetrate
the market.
:Demonstrated strong leadership skill by leading (chairperson) Virtual
Factory IE / Production Planning Manager Team to address critical issues and
drive standardization in term of business process & system used across 6
Assembly / Test factories.
:Proposed to management including justify for capital fund needed to pre-
position production capacity to support critical product start-up and ramp.
Work with peer to explore various opportunities to increase production
capacity to support steep ramp.
:Worked with Virtual Factory counterpart to resolve production capacity
shortage through Virtual Factory loading optimization by swapping various
loading across factories to fully utilize constraint resource.
:Drove business process improvement and deployed various system / tool to
improve overall factory efficiency and velocity in term of response TPT (say
yes to customer in shorter TPT) as well as capability to track actual
equipment performance which can be used to identify productivity
improvement opportunity.
:Leveraged kaizen or lean approach to drive labor productivity improvement
which resulted > 50 DL saving in Y2013 and additional 36 DL in Y2014.
:Drove standardization in term of man machine ratio across Virtual Factory
for headcount planning to ensure all factories used the same baseline.
:Drove various equipment productivity improvement projects which resulted
in >$7M capital saving to enable factory meet cost target.
:Expanded the scope to own overall factory safety portfolio to ensure
Production floor is meeting safe requirement.
:Led IE & Planning Organization role merging activities to improve overall
resource efficiency. With merging activities, expanded the scope by taking
over certain job function from Planning Organization such as demand
forecasting, dice planning and material planning to ensure overall production
capacity is sufficient to support demand.
:Led the effort to improve efficiency of Malaysia Site IE Organization across
3 factories by proposing centralized IE role for certain job function (vs by
individual factory) which led to 15% IE resource reduction.
:One of key members to plan and execute to close down operation at Costa
Rica and consolidated most of operations to Malaysia site. Established
overall master schedule to transfer all operations from Costa Rica to
Malaysia with flawless execution.
Hobbies : Jogging, playing table tennis, travel, watching TV/movie and spend time with
family members.
Current Salary: RM17,136
Monthly allowance: RM1950 car allowance, RM300 petroleum allowance and RM140 for
toll.
