Objective
My main objective is to utilize all skills and attributes acquired over the 20yrs of service in the security industry as well as
the previous 5yrs of experience in the corporate security industry. I feel that my time is worth more and can be better
utilized in an area whereby I can provide valuable input and be of better use to the community.
Experience
Santos Place / Global Facilities Management Feb 11 - Current
 Create, implement and monitor Site Operational Procedures manual for security purposes
 Create, implement and monitor important documentation for managing and reporting maintenance issues,
occurrences & incidents
 Suggest ways of improving areas of security with facilities management team
 Ability to communicate with persons of all ages, ability to engage in all types of conversation whether complex or not
 Ability to prioritize and ensure that all maintenance plus common issues are rectified in a timely manner
 Ability to keep all parties inclusive of security and facilities well informed and updated on any issues
 Ability to distribute and maintain or change alarm codes when required
 Ability to process and utilize card access software when requested
 Ability to learn and manage access control systems on any site
 Respond immediately to any alarm activations within the building and to begin investigation
 Ability to record and reset lockboxes within the building when required by facilities management
 Ability to manage secure keys and key register, ability to continue to update and maintain key register
 Ability to compile statistical monthly reports and feedback on security or facilities issues
 Ability to promote security awareness amongst tenants, staff and contractors at Santos Place
 Email all tenancies, staff and contractors in regards to lost property before disposal to charity
 Managing building keys, lockers and all registers associated with site
 Managing and issuing of illegal parking notices to offending and re-offending vehicles onsite and organization of
towing
 Allocating parking spaces for contractors and couriers, directing traffic within driveway or giving persons a direction to
move
 Identify and escalate priority of any issues that affect Occupational Health & Safety of all persons through facilities
manager
 Conducting daily inspections of building for maintenance issues which will include lift and plantroom audits
 Maintenance issues to be re-addressed if not rectified within a week with facilities management
 CCTV monitoring of premises ensuring that any incidents are recorded and reported immediately to facilities

 Submitting general maintenance requests for storerooms, tenancies and common areas
 Tracking of owners of illegally parked vehicles and having them removed site with minimal fuss
 Monitoring and managing jobs logged with facilities management and following up with Security Manager
 Attending and contributing info for video/tele conferences and meetings with Security Manager and Facilities
Management Group
 Liaising with contractors ensuring that all documentation is in order before conducting induction process
 Engaging with contractors to ensure that works have been completed and that work area has been kept clean
 Coordinate and create building signage where and when required
 Managing general communications to staff with property related issues, following issues up with Security Manager
 Ensuring that emergency management legislation is updated and maintained, or brought to the attention of Security
and Facility Manager
 Engaging and coordinating Fire Warden training and evacuation exercises are carried out annually
 Escalating the priority of OHS as it is imperative that they are to be action upon reporting during business hours
 Managing daily group emails, actions, follow up and corresponding when possible
 Assisting Facilities Management team and Security Manager wherever needed
 Generating or creating documentation that are required for site records
 Creating templates and seeking approval from Security Manager to implement and place in circulation
