Description:
B&M Retail Ltd is a retail chain of discount stores operating in North West England. B&M has
more than 230 stores in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Products include health &
beauty, household textiles, house wares, electrical and home decor.
The main aim of the Project is for extracting the data from different sources and transforms the
data by using Integration Services transformations and loading into Data Warehouse .This is a data
warehousing application made for the analysis and reporting purpose of the sales and marketing company.
The dimensional modeling used in this project is star schema. Using this project we can generate various
types of reports like best Employee Report, Best Customer Report, Best Product sold report, Best
Promotion report, etc.
Roles & Responsibilities:
 Extensively working in data Extraction, Transformation and Loading from source to target system
using SQL Server Integration Services.

Description:
Blackfoot application is a reporting application which is developed in SSIS, SSRS and SQL
server 2008 technologies. Ace insurance operates in 14 countries. Each countries home location has their
own Databases and set of different crystal reports. These different countries reports are not consistent in
design and functional. It was very difficult for Ace to manage large number of reports in distributed
manner. Blackfoot application has common interface for all country’s user. From the SSRS interface user
can select the country and as per the selected country system connects to that database and will display all
the reports.
Roles & Responsibilities:
 Development of mappings according to the ETL specifications for the staging area data load using
SQl Server Integration Service & SQL Server 2008.
 Importing Source/Target tables from the respective databases by using Execute Package Task using
Control Tasks in SQL Server 2008 Integration services.
Used Control Flow Tasks like For Loop Container, For Each Loop Container, Sequential
Container, Execute SQL Task, Email Task, and Data Flow Task.
 Generated multiple Enterprise reports using SSRS from SQL Server 2008.
 Included various reporting features such as drilldowns, drill through, sub-reports, navigation reports
(Hyperlink) etc.
As per the requirements develop the reports in the form of Table, Matrix, and Chart using SQL

Description:
Safeway is America’s largest retailer with more than 1,700 stores throughout North America
serving more than 3.5 million customers every week. Safeway operates fully serviced supermarkets with
more than 3000 products throughout America. Today Safeway is one of America’s leading retail and Sales
lead information provides the capturing and maintaining information capabilities on all sales. To achieve
this it was required to transform/modify/load the sales data collected and stored into SQL Server Database
where it can be analyzed. The Enterprise Data warehouse was implemented to centralize database for
decision support and to improve the client services by preventing errors, providing real-time data and
updating records as transactions are completed. Reports have been generated and scheduled.
Roles & Responsibilities:
 Involved in designing of initial package, keeping in view implementing appropriate SSIS controls.
 Creating packages at SQL Server Integration Service platform.
