Project Description:
With the legacy application load setup of GE Money almost on the verge of phase out due to old
not so user friendly C language codes and outdated hardware, client requested a total new
setup to be put in place with coding done using TSQL and Unix scripts. A very prestigious
project with a lot of responsibility was assigned to our team with a tight deadline of 2 months.
The project was delivered in record one and half month time, with a noticeable decrease in the
production load job execution time, earning us customer appreciation and award from the
company (POB).

GE Money being a financial client has various critical financial month end processes, being
performed by our team (The process involves running some critical jobs and data load
on SQL Boxes). The criticality and work load required 2 resources for 2 continues shifts and
the whole process being manual resulted in human errors, frequent escalations and business
outages. Within few days of joining the team as a lead role, identified the pain area and
initiated the project for process automation. Successful deployment of the process resulted in
drastic reduction in execution time and resource count.

The project involves standalone servers and servers with log shipping and replication. A very prestigious project with a lot of responsibility was assigned to our team with a tight deadline of 2 months. The project was delivered in record one and half month time, with a noticeable decrease in the production load job execution time, earning us customer appreciation and award from the company (POB). The criticality and work load required 2 resources for 2 continues shifts and the whole process being manual resulted in human errors, frequent escalations and business outages. Within few days of joining the team as a lead role, identified the pain area and initiated the project for process automation. Successful deployment of the process resulted in drastic reduction in execution time and resource count.
