2.4. About Siskin Instruments:
It was 22nd November 1979 when germination process of SISKIN was first sighted. Young
and enthusiastic engineers helped Mr.N.Gopalan the founder of SISKIN, to build the
company widely recognised, respected and trusted.
“Arbeit produziert mehr Arbeit” is a German folk saying, this in English means “Work
produces more Work”. We just added an adjective “Good” to the saying matching our
cultural and philosophical temper.
At SISKIN, “Work” implies “Good Work” by any standard of inspection. Our business and
routine involves around applications and service of common purpose instruments used by
researchers every day. We found few German companies who were good and trustworthy.
The association made in 1980/81 has stood the test of times and continues till date

standard. Clean, Clear and Serene thinking is our attribute. That is the basis to define fair

parts inventory, handling service issues, monitoring and promoting sales progress, local
fabrications and its design, pending payment issues, technical support to the branches.

5.1. Responsibilities (all India basis):
 Lead the team of Area Sales Managers and Area Service Managers across the country
for viscosity density and measuring instrument product group.
 The primary role is to ensure top quality sales and service support to the customer
base.
 Travelled across the country accompanied by respective regional ASM’s for customer
visits for technical discussions, demonstrations, conducting seminars, training to the
team of ASM’s, campaigns, road shows, exhibitions so on….
 Generated new applications and brought in so many positive prospects followed by
chain of customer reference along with handsome orders.
 Supported Process Instrumentation Team for promoting their products and getting the
leads which have converted into chain of orders to the group and created new
application segments
 Keep close watch on key prospects from corporate accounts
 Keep communicating with all users within the product group
 Periodically creating and sending news letter to the user customer group as well as
new prospective customers of all market segments
 Creating new possibility of live enquiries for the product group by using Google
search engine and other sources
 Conducted monthly sales review meetings with respective ASM’s

 Also, developed market segments like automotive, diesel locomotive sheds/works,
power transmission, power generation, naval, analytical testing services, aeronautical,
biofuel manufacturers and so on…

of working environment inside the team of engineers

 Won the orders from tough competition in public sectors and private industries
 After having an in depth penetration of petroleum market in India, Company
