Area Construction Manager, November 2006 – March 2015
Responsible for 10 -12 new/rebuild restaurants and 15-Major Remodels per year. Work
closely with Real Estate to analyze new sites and complete due diligence, create development
budget, design sites, permitting process, bidding process and complete the construction of
facility to turn over to Operations on schedule. EVA track record to date is under 5% of
projected budget; Average construction schedule is 90-Days of a 4,356 SF building within a 1
½ acre site.
LONGHORN STEAKS, Atlanta, GA
Construction Manager, November 2005 – October 2006
Responsible for building Company restaurants in the Southeast. From permitting to turn over
to Operations. Handled buy-outs, bidding and supervision of general contractors, 4-New
Stores & 3- Remodels completed.
CHURCH’S CHICKEN, Atlanta, GA
Regional Construction Manager, April 1993 – October 2005
Responsible for the preparation and presentation of budget approval packages to the
Executive Team for new construction and renovation of Church’s company restaurants.
Managed store design/site adaptation, signage and equipment ordering/tracking,
contract negotiation and supervision of General Contractors. 20-New Stores and 200+
Remodels- Responsible for the Southeast Region.

CHOATE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, Atlanta, GA
Project Manager, February 1991 – March 1993
Commercial General Contractor. Responsible for construction management of $50,000 to
$1,000,000 projects, including architectural design management, negotiations with
subcontractors, permitting and adherence to schedule and budget.
MEDICAL SERVICES COMPANY, Atlanta, GA
Project Development Manager, April 1988 – February 1991
Developer of small freestanding medical facilities. Responsible for land acquisitions,
zoning approvals, contract negotiations, budgets and management of facility
construction – design through punch-out. Completed development for 4-Georgia and
Tennessee markets, which included 36 facilities.
THE CYPRESS GROUP, INC., Atlanta, GA
Owner, September 1982 – March 1988
Turnkey developer for Domino’s Pizza, Inc. Responsible for team effort including site
selections, design, leasehold improvements and new construction, equipment
installation and follow-up warranty completion. Completed 250+ units. Directly
supervised 6-8 Field Superintendents, office staff and real estate team in all aspects of
store development.
S&H CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, Atlanta, GA
Project Manager, July 1979 – September 1982
Responsible for estimating and project management of commercial construction
projects. $300,000 to $500,000 contracts.

Worked full time as an Assistant Superintendent on an $18 million industrial
