Chi Zhang has a Master of Science in Microbiology and Bacteriology from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from the University of Kansas. Zhang has research experience in techniques such as PCR, protein purification, and bioinformatics tools like BLAST. Zhang has worked as a research assistant at the University of Florida since 2013, where responsibilities include cell culture, protein purification, and modeling protein structures. Additional experience includes internships in strain storage and an administrative role in marketing study abroad programs.
