• Managed Service Head for Enterprise and Fixed line
contact center for one of the top Indian telco. Managing
end to end services across feasibility, delivery, assurances
with 1000+ people and 100,000 plus km of fiber network.
• Ground up setup of high end NOC, rollout and Field
operations for Smart City projects at Raipur and Gurugram
with thousands of km of network and fiber design rollout.

• Heading Service excellence team responsible for business
process automation, supporting oss/bss rollout involving
tools like remedy, metasolv, salesforce, oracle sales
online.
• Managed Hosting and Data center engineering product
and Services roll out consisting of hosting messaging and
collaborations services, Antivirus and Anti-spam Services,
Audio and Web Conferencing services, Video
conferencing, Hosting, Storage and Backup services,
Telepresence, Virtualization, Database services and Cloud
Services.
• Setting up Services Planning organization and defined
service level, T&C, order forms, delivery and compliance
mechanism for all services offered. It also included New
product introduction process and associated organization
setup.
• Rolling out wireless access network based on the MMDS
based technology to meet the faster reach to customer as
last mile, this project was taken on war footing and rolled
out in more than 13 top cities in less than 6 months. This
involved RFP, evaluation, ordering, architecture and
service design, implementation, testing and handover to

• Setting up Customer project management ground up in
company and created bridge between Customer order
and Service assurance on all India basis.
• Heading the project of Planning, designing and rollout of
global MPLS services from assets acquired from Gemplex
network. Juniper M10 Series router based services rolled
out in Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, UK and USA. Involved
first ever negotiation with carriers for Data center space,
power and connectivity. Setting up NOC for monitoring
and supporting entire network. Working with legal team
for getting International Licenses and setting up
companies and providing technical support.
VIDESH SANCHAR NIGAM LIMITED
1994-2002
• Technical and project lead in rolling out DOT’s southern
region NIB (National Information Backbone) project as a
part of VSNL. It was first ever national wide internet
network in the NIB rollout phase 1. This was implemented
using Cisco based network equipment and Sun Solaris
based servers.
• Installation and managing IT and services infrastructure
including Sun and Digital Hardware, Operating system like
Dec OSF1, Sun Solaris 5.x, 6.x, 8.x. DNS, Messaging (SMTP
and POP3), Mysql database, Firewall, Billing and Security
for the South. – It was first in VSNL which was then
replicated in coordination with HQ across all the locations.
• Lead in Part of Telecom Quality Initiatives in TL9000, ISO
14000, BS7799. – Involved and actively participated from
Day one for first ever quality initiative lead in Company.
Actively involved in socializing and bring the organization
awareness around the ITIL v2 and V3, ISO20000, eTOM
(BPF).
• Core team member for Commercial Internet launch in
India for central planning, execution and managing
Chennai core pop and international gateway. Other major
contribution includes – ATM rollout, Network Topology
Change and Migration, Default point of contact for
resolving major network services issues, X400 based email,
fax and telex services installations and rollout.
