• Act as program manager for New Product Development with suppliers follow Quality Planning
Steps to ensure Robust Development using zero defect parts in New Product Development
using PFD-PFMEA-PCP approach.
• Interface with SQA & R&D and within SS&SC for consistency of inspection method for
supplied goods.
• To verify suppliers readiness for model launch prior to Start of Production.
• To ensure Engineering Change Management.
• Responsible for Part ECN till Part Approval.
• Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time
requirements; sequencing project elements.
• Maintains project schedule by monitoring its progress,coordinating activities, resolving
problems regarding part and panel checker quality.
• Review PPAP,APQP & Action plan,R&R report.
• Review buyoff files for each part.
Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements on 3D
parametric softwares like CATIA V5 & UG Nx9, Autocad.
