This document provides an agenda for a workshop on responding to lessons learned from flooding. The workshop includes three breakout sessions on systems thinking and decision making, flood resilience and resistance measures, and organizational learning and knowledge management. It will provide an opportunity for various stakeholders to share experiences from recent flood events and help develop the final output of a CIRIA research project on improving infrastructure resilience to flooding.

Programme
This workshop will provide an opportunity for regulators, infrastructure owners, decision-makers, flood risk
managers, asset managers, the supply chain and academics to interactively engage, share and explore with cross-
sector organisations on the ways in which infrastructure owners and operators, including their supply chain,
actually learn from the plethora of flood events to have caused wide-spread disruption in recent years.
The contributions received at this workshop will play a significant role in developing the final output of the CIRIA
research project collaboratively funded by Environment Agency, Highways England, Gatwick Airport Ltd, National
Grid, Network Rail, Transport for London, and Scottish Water.
