2. Resources are either renewable like water, wind, and forests, or non-renewable like coal, oil, and minerals. Renewable resources can be replenished, while non-renewable resources form over long periods.
3. Resources are owned individually, by communities, nationally, or internationally depending on their ownership and accessibility. Individuals own private property while communities and nations own shared resources.
