A resilience systems analysis translates political will into effective programming by taking a whole-of-system approach to understand risks over time, not just events. It brings together experts in risks, systems, and decision-making to pool existing knowledge and data to analyze the resilience of a given system, such as the well-being of Egyptian communities, to various risks over the next three years. This includes risks from geo-political, economic, natural/climate, and idiosyncratic or covariate factors. The analysis maps these risks, examines how the system absorbs, adapts and transforms across factors like infrastructure, social networks, governance, natural resources, human capital and finances.
