- 2. Thriller movies give off the emotions of suspense, tension and even elements of excitement. Thriller movies are known for the feelings the give to the audience
- 3. Thriller movies use a lot of diegetic sound during the course of the film. Commons sounds like bangs, ticking, and screams. the build up of these sounds help create suspense and tension. These sounds are heard by both us and the characters, and normally are jumpy.
- 4. Non-diegetic sound is commonly used in the thriller genre also. A steady drone is use, when the feeling of unease is needed. There is normally a crescendo which takes place nearer the action. As the action increases and the tension builds the music speed also increases in unison . The sound can be either parallel or contrapuntal.
