This document summarizes a research study on teachers' perceptions of the significance of local culture in foreign language learning. It discusses how culture and language are intertwined and the importance of incorporating cultural elements into foreign language teaching. The study was conducted in Saudi Arabia and examined whether local Saudi culture or foreign Western culture was more important to teach in English language classes. It reviews literature supporting the inclusion of cultural components in language teaching and discusses strategies for integrating appropriate local cultural aspects, like food, shopping, literature and films, into the English curriculum in Saudi Arabia. The goal was to make learning more engaging for Saudi students by connecting it to their own culture while still teaching important cultural aspects of the English language.

The document discusses the major problems in Colombia as drug trafficking and internal war since 1970. The internal war has harmed farmers by destroying crops with guns and intimidation. Political corruption, exploitation of farmers, and power of drug cartels have also contributed to the issues in Colombia. Improving the country's image and passing laws against financial crimes may help address some of these challenges.
This document summarizes a study on integrating local culture into foreign language classrooms in Saudi Arabia. It discusses how culture and language are interconnected and how incorporating local cultural elements can boost foreign language learning. The study examines teachers' preparedness to integrate local Arabic culture in English classrooms. It finds that incorporating familiar cultural topics from Saudi Arabia, like festivals and traditions, can help students learn vocabulary and communication skills more easily compared to only using foreign cultural material. The study concludes local culture-based teaching can motivate students and offers recommendations to curriculum designers on selecting appropriate local cultural aspects to integrate into English language teaching in Saudi Arabia.

This document provides an overview of floating drug delivery systems. It begins with an introduction that describes how floating drug delivery systems can help modify gastric retention time and control drug release. It then discusses various factors that affect floating drug delivery systems and different mechanisms for achieving floatation. The document goes on to describe several types of non-effervescent and effervescent floating drug delivery systems that have been developed, including hydrodynamically balanced systems, hollow microspheres, alginate beads, and single-unit or multi-unit effervescent systems. It concludes by noting some applications and recent advances in floating drug delivery systems.
This document summarizes the mechanisms of action of various protein synthesis inhibitors in bacteria. It discusses how these inhibitors target different stages of mRNA translation in the bacterial ribosome, including initiation, elongation, and termination. Some key inhibitors mentioned are aminoglycosides, spectinomycin, linezolid, tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, macrolides, clindamycin, streptogramins, and mupirocin. They act by binding to different sites on the bacterial ribosomal subunits and disrupting proper formation of initiation complexes, misreading of mRNA, peptide bond formation, and translocation during translation.
Drug delivery systems has undergone major modification in the recent past . With the advent of nanomedicines and liposomes , drug delivery systems has taken a huge leap towards targeted, carrier mediated and sustained release drug delivery.

do medio ambiente.
estudo e coñecemento doutras fontes de enerxía máis limpas (as renovables).
non renovable, efectos e consecuencias, lugares contaminados, malos
comportamentos do ser humano (non reciclar)...
E cales son as consecuencias dos comportamentos do ser humano en relación coa
natureza? Debemos estudalas, mostralas aos demais e aportar solucións.

casa, parroquia, concello e outros lugares). Para facelo, pensamos que será
necesario varias actuacións:
- No colexio: Conseguir diñeiro para mercar papeleiras para poder reciclar
nas aulas e no patio. Actividades de reciclaxe, de reutilización, de redución
do consumo e de recuperación.
- Gravar audios deses textos explicativos.
- Fotografar as consecuencias dese consumo: aire contaminado, auga,
bosques, ...
- Ver o documental HOME e outros relacionados.
TAREFA 2: XEOLOCALIZACIÓN DENUNCIA DE LUGARES, REALIDADES,
PAISAXES, MÁQUINAS, COMPORTAMENTOS QUE NON RESPECTAN O MEDIO
AMBIENTE.
